It's because the 2 top heavyweights in the world are brothers who will never fight each other.

Shows you how broken baseball is. Bay is on top for Canada and he isn't even a very good baseball player.

You should have made it a test before showing the answers Girly. The only 2 i would have got was the Phillipines and England.

I consider myself a casual boxing fan and honestly I find the heavy weight fights these days are really boring to watch. They are slow and there s a lot of clutching. I find the welterweights a lot more entertaining to watch.

Heatley was born in West Germany.

Both Iginla and Phaneuf were paid $7 million this season.

Didn't say he was German, just that he was born in Germany since the list is based on place of birth.

Just 2? You would have gotten all the F1 guys like Alonso and Raikkonen. You would have gotten Ronaldo! You know alot of sports!

For those wondering about girls.

I thought Caroline Wozniacki would have been the top Dane, but she only made $4,446,488 to the $4.5 million that Daniel Agger made. Clijsters made $5,035,060 compared to Kompany's $5.34 million.

I don't have a source, but I read it somewhere before, they were calling Williams the highest paid sportsman (or some similar word) in NZ. Maybe they meant anyone involved in sports.

But I'll tell you, carrying a professional's bag over 18 holes is hard work. I had to do it once at a Pro-Am at the course I worked at. Some local head pro had me caddy for him, and I was probably like 15 years old at the time and 100 pounds soaking wet...that was brutal.

Lol @ Manchester City,

Carlos Tevez - Argentina - $19M
Vincent Kompany - Belgium - $5.34M
Edin Dzeko - Bosnia - $8.47M
Yaya Toure - Ivory Coast - $18.2M
Nigel De Jong - Netherlands - $10.5M
Roque Santa Cruz - Paraguay - $7.7M
Emmanual Adebayor - Togo - $11.9M

Wow, considering two of those players dont even play for them anymore, no wonder everyone wants to go play for City, get paid and then get traded.

I'm surprised by Vanek for Austria. I would have thought some soccer player would be way up there. Then again, I don't follow soccer so I wouldn't know.

Yeah, but imagine you're the guy from Niue.

$5,000 and still less than your country's per capita GDP

Don't get me wrong it might be hard work but it is far from a sport or sport like activity. It's almost like calling a coach an athlete.

Or a golfer for that matter...
