Default Where to buy Bulk Cable or Wire?

Looks like I have run through all of my bulk RG6 coax cable I had. Now I know I spent less than $100 on this box a few years ago, and now the prices I see show it being around $300 for a 1000 foot box. That isn't much better than Home Depot's cut wire price.

I already tried Monoprice; they are out of stock. And Eecol also shows it around $300.

The place I bought this from was just behind the Chinook Home Depot; and has since been replaced with a Filipino Store.

Not sure if you want a physical store or not, but here:

Maybe call Memory Express as well?

Looks like that store wants about $100 for shipping. Yikes!

Princess Auto possibly? $19.99 for a 100 ft. spool, but possibly stocked out.

I may just stop by Princess Auto- I had forgotten that they sometimes have it.

The only thing is that one already has the ends on it; the beauty of having a 1000 foot spool is being able to make the cables the exact size you want.

Hmmm... They want an extra $27 to ship to a residence. At least that is getting closer to a good price.

Noramco should have all that. I buy all my cable and connectors through them out here in Van. They deal in big volume so the price shouldn't be two bad. Don't know about RG-6 as I haven't bought that in a decade but the rest of the rest of the coax I use they have the best price.

Civic Recycling in Calgary sells it by the box (1000 ft), I'm not sure what their pricing is, but they've usually got pretty good pricing on all things electical (new and used, cable of course is new).

I know the owner and he's a pretty straight shooter, so this is a bit of a plug, but they're probably worth a call.

You could try them.

They may look at you funny, but it's certainly worth a try.

Big thanks to everybody for the leads. While BBS's link ended up being the cheapest for a 1000 foot roll; by that time I had already gone to Princess Auto and grabbed a 500' roll from their "surplus" section.

With their scratch and save I ended up paying $45 for the 500' roll.

Not related to this thread but it's amazing how much shopping around and buying off the internet can save you. The Nissan dealership wanted $550 just for my mass air flow sensor and in 5 minutes I found the same Nissan part for $75 from a Nissan dealer in the States.

Yep,

I'm saving about 200 on buying a brake controller for my truck from the states...
