HDTV help!

Does anyone have HDTV here? I just picked up the hd shaw box at the soundsaround sale but they didn't really know what cord you need to connect it to the tv. Is it just a regular component cable or do you need a DVI cable in order to get the 1080i lines of resolution?

thanx for the help guys. too bad i cheaped out and bought a 4 foot monster component cable and it's too short. I have to go back and exchange tomorrow. hehe. but i pulled the one from the dvd and wow the pic is great. Heather Locklear on hdtv, with a low cut shirt on Leno. hehe

Well good luck to you tomorrow. That place is going to be a mad house. I was there today and the guy was saying it was calm compared to what Saturday is going to be like. But for the price they charge for them monster cables its hard to say you cheaped out. B)

oh hehe. I forgot to say i bought the monster cables at future shop. There is no way in hell i'm going to the soundsaround thing on a Saturday! I only bought the receiver at Soundsaround.

Wow added bonus. i just got a message from shaw that i get to watch the Canada game today and then the finals game on HD! yay.
