Browner IF cut is a free agent so he can explore his CFL options. Good signing with Tisdale, I'm actually quite happy with Tisdale and Dixon are corners. Liked what I saw from both of them last year.

Stampeders name Walkosky linebackers coach: Please read the full story on TSN.ca for the latest details http://bit.ly/hGjbpV
Dave Walkosky was named linebackers coach after spending three seasons as head coach at Tiffin University.
"I'm very pleased to be able to add someone with Dave's experience to our staff," Stampeders general manager John Hufnagel said in a release. "He has spent time as a defensive co-ordinator, special-teams co-ordinator, defensive backs coach, linebackers coach and most recently as a head coach, so I'm excited for what he can add to our group."
The Stampeders also announced that defensive line coach Cornell Brown has left the team to accept a position at Virginia Tech.

that is the idea, as hamilton will lose much less gate revenue than Calgary will, but the schedule hasn't been released so probably no official word, but yes the rumour has been that Hamilton will lose the home game. Calgary isn't a great draw for them anyways. will watch this one with much more interest this year, glad to see it continuing

there is a rumour the schedule is coming out today at 12pm est!
unfortunately the schedule already has problems as it sounds like Hamilton won't be playing Toronto on labour day! Hamilton will host Montreal on Labour day and Toronto will host BC on the friday night
http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Football/CFL/ ... 26391.html
Quote:
For the first time since 1995, Argonauts fans won’t be filled with hate for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Labour Day weekend.
The Labour Day Classic between the Argos and Ticats, an annual staple on the schedule for both teams — and one that players have acknowledged is the biggest game of the regular season — won’t be happening in 2011.
Because they play so many games on the road prior to Labour Day weekend, the Argos will play at home that Friday night versus the B.C. Lions. The Ticats will play host to the Montreal Alouettes on Labour Day.
The Argos are an afterthought when it comes to scheduling at the Rogers Centre, as they get the scraps once the Blue Jays’ schedule is set. The Argos will play their first three games on the road, starting July 1 in Calgary against the Stampeders, and of their first eight games, five will be away from Toronto.
The Labour Day Classic had been a tradition prior to 1995, when the Argos played at home against the San Antonio Texans.
In the 15 games between Hamilton and Toronto on Labour Day since ’95, the Ticats hold the edge with an 8-6-1 record.
The thinking is this will be a one-off, with the Canadian Football League doing what it can in 2012 to ensure that the Labour Day Classic between the Argos and Ticats is back on

And before anyone accuses the CFL of being bush league for ruining Labour Day.
This is ALL Toronto's fault/choice. Or more specifically the Rogers Center.
As reported on the Fan 960 this morning, they only gave the league TEN dates for NINE home games.
Hopefully, this is the only oddity that hurts anyone else. Toronto should bear the brunt of this since it is their stadium.

Messing with labour day though doesn't look good from an outsiders point of view. They should be alternating the home team on that weekend for every matchup to make it fair for everyone.
And can we get another CFL team in the east already? I'm tired of Bombers only visiting Calgary once a year and having it in November sucks even more.

yep, stupid Rogers.
2013, so 2 more seasons until the Ottawa team is back in, then you get Winnipeg in the west

Two Stamps games in Sask in less than 2 weeks in late July and early August..
Good, get them out of the way early, and in the summer, when you just have to deal with the smell of the sloughs, stench of watermelon heads, and mosquitos, rather then the bitter cold, and the stench of watermelon heads.
Also, Hamilton playing Calgary in Halifax...Hamilton loses the home game.

The Stamps didn't sell out the Labour Day Classic last year. Wondering if that trend will continue....

Only 1 game vs Winterpeg and its the last game of the year? Thats strange...dont we usually have at least a home and away series with each team? One of the 4 Riders games must be a game vs the Peg not?
