Is there anywhere in Calgary you can get cans/bottles of Kokanee Gold? I've looked at a few liquor stores here, but the only places I've seen it has been in BC

I had one from Quebec it was like Les Trioes Musketeers or something.. basically three musketers in french.. really good.
God I love google..
The Porter one was the best..
This stuff was also really good, a black peppercorn beer..
Sorry if I am hi jacking this thread but try those thanks.

At the beer tasting I was at, the Routes des Epices was paired with a chocolate with strawberry and green peppercorns. Very good.
Quebec beer is really blowing up.

If anyone is in Montreal, I would highly suggest going to the Dieu du Ciel pub where that beer is brewed. Their beer is good in the bottle but it's tenfold better on tap, imo.

Yeah my local liquor stores have entire shelves dedicated to Quebec beer right now. They have unique flavours and are a good bang for your buck. Im quite the fan.

Has anyone been to District on 11 Ave? They are brewing some good beers there, unfortunately I can't recall the names I tried.

I haven't had trouble finding KG before. You should be able to find it at any major store/chain, ie. Willowpark, Coop, Liquor Depot, Solo. Just look for the big yellowy-gold box. I'd recommend getting the bottles over the cans.

I go there almost every day but have never had beer there, not even really thought about it until now.
It's a great coffee shop as well; carry my Vancouver favorite 49th parallel and Cafe Intelligencia (another fav).
Breakfast is decent too, and they have live music some evenings. Will have to grab a beer there next time, even if it is 10AM.

The two places I buy beer from - Sobeys and Co-Op - both have Kokanee Gold.
When I was skiing at Hidden Valley last weekend, I could tell who was from Saskatchewan by the ones who were drinking Pilsner over all the other choices. I've never been able to like Pilsner...don't get the appeal.

Only time I ever drink Pilsner is when im looking to get rowdy drunk, following in the great steps of Terry and Deaner. However it always amazes me how expensive that beer is, its up there with all other better quality beer like Molson and Budweiser. I always treated it as a greasy, cheap, get drunk quick beer, but the $42 for 24 price says other wise.

I found a beer called HOCKLEY in a small town alberta liquor store last year. Anyone know any stores in Calgary that carry this? I think there was a Hockley Lager and Hockley Dark? In big cans.

Here is their email however andrew@hockleybeer.ca Im sure if you send them an email asking where they carry in Alberta they'd be happy to tell you, or even send you a case in the mail.
