Commute should be fine. Only the mountains are getting 50cm of snow. 15-30cm over tonight and tomorrow will be nothing new.

Back to 41* It's around 36-40* from late May to basically early October here. I love warm weather and would much rather be around it. to each is it's own though.
So, your're uncomfortable when you are outside, though. Right?
" to each is it's own though." Aahahaha.
Awesome. Do you think that's the saying? Just saying.

You know what? I've lived in both Edmonton and Calgary for many years and I must say that Edmonton is much less stressful for winter travel. There is superior snow removal in Edmonton and, since they have no snow/melt cycle, the snow packs down to some pretty decent roads in the residential areas. Calgary is either super sloppy or super slippery all winter long.

It fills in all the pot holes...

My car with "enhanced" suspension takes a beating in the city.

Oh, I agree. Don't get me started on all the pot holes. I used to spend a lot of time north of Whyte Ave and the pot holes around there drove me nuts. Calgary has better quality roads than Edmonton but the winter driving is another story.

Just a heads up that the snowfall warning has been "upgraded" to a winter storm warning. Essentially even more snow is expected along with blowing snow. I'd post a link but I'm on my iPhone, but check Environment Canada or The Weather Network for details.

The second half of the week is projected to be 5 degrees

This must be the third week in a row where it's snowing on Sat/Sun/Mon, and the warm weather on Wed/Thurs/Fri melts it all away

Looking outside an hour ago and it was pretty bad, about 5cm EASILY of snow, but it was still coming down and it was crazy windy. Deerfoot is going to be pleasant in the morning, ugh...thinking about just doing an all-nighter as school starts in 4.5 hours from now.

Good luck getting to work this morning. I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of people who are going to have very bad days today.

Tagging along with my Neighbor this morning, my front wheel drive coupe is no match for this weather.

A 7am this morning I was woken up by a bunch of people yelling outside, I looked out my window and there was about 3 people trying to push a Smart Car. I face palmed and went back to sleep.

Today is the kid of day I love Calgary Transit. Drove to the park and ride, which was rough because my Saturn SC was literally plowing the streets, and then tried to sleep as the 302 had a hell of a time getting moving after each stop.

Was about 30 mins late getting in, but a good chunk of that was me digging out my car and getting it out of my alley.
