Last night's 'Big Love' was actually pretty good. They tied up the 'nightmare' from last year fairly well. I thought it was a solid premiere to the final season. Anyone else see it?
I saw it and also thought it was pretty good. I still have no idea why he decided to "out" his family. What reaction did they expect.

Well, I think the point is that he's so convinced that his way of life is the 'right way,' and he wants everyone to know and accept that they are not 'perverted.' I think he felt it's his 'calling' in life.
I liked the way the episode ended, showed poor ol Bill a little hope. And I liked that the fat guy from the hardware store finally stood up for himself.

No listing for Canadian premiere of Friday Night Lights and Robot Chicken.
My list came from an American blog; a bunch of the cable stuff will be either not there, on a different channel, or premiering on a completely different date.
Just because Harry's Law is on NBC does not doom it. In fact, it helps it. I saw a rather long preview and it looks like it is going to be quite good actually.
What was the last new NBC drama that was decent and had any kind of longevity? None come to mind at the moment... I hate watching a show that I start to like only to have canceled after 13 episodes, especially broadcast dramas which usually aren't that good to begin with.
The Chicago Code, premiering on February 7th, is a police drama whose executive producer and creator is Shawn Ryan of The Shield fame. I'll watch it for that reason alone.

Well, Harry's Law is on the PVR, so I didn't watch it yet, but something has to stick sooner or later. NBC can't keep running through show after show.
The wife and I really enjoy Parenthood. And yes, I know, it's on the cusp of being cancelled as well.
Just when I thought I couldn't get any more excited for Parks and Rec..Aubrey Plaza was on Leno last night and she did the most amazing job at making him and Ashton Kutcher squirm. Absolutely classic. Check out the videos @ http://www.knopeknows.com/
Parks and Rec premiered with a strong episode and had it's highest ratings yet coming on right after the Office. Andy Dwyer has quickly become the most likeable character on television for me. His coaching strategy with his youth basketball team, chanting his own name after they won and dumping gatorade on himself afterwards was classic. Glad to have it back on the air
Community has also been really strong the past couple of weeks. Danny Pudi and Donald Glover have me cracking up. When Abid gets called the brown Jamie Lee Curtis, I had to pause the show and rewind.
The new thursday show, Perfect Couples, is Pretty funny actually. I missed the premier, but caught the second episode and thought it was funny and actually a bit twisted.

Just the opposite for me. Saw 10 minutes of the first show and deleted it. Just thought it was over the top stupid.
I've been seeing ads for Mr. Sunshine, it airs next Monday. After seeing Matthew Perry and Allison Janney are staring, I was hoping Sorkin wrote it. But it looks like it might be interesting, also has Andrea Anders which I like. And it's on ABC, so it might stand a chance.
