There are a few really deadly chocolate stouts that I buy but I can't think of the names at this moment. Hmmmm. May have to stop at the liquor store for some "research".

What, what, what? Blackcurrant?!? How have I not seen this before? This looks amazing! Anyone seen this one at a liquor store not as far down in the south? I may try the Bow Trail location of Willow Park today after work.

Who am I kidding? I'll drive from Tuscany to Willow Park to try this.

The Ephemere along with a few other Uniboure beers are also at Highlander on 16th ave, maybe in Richmond. Possibly in the new Marda Loop location as well, but 100% at 16th ave.

Lost Coast Great White is the greatest beer I have ever had. If you're looking for some more rare ones Bottlescrew Bill's is a must. It's on 1st and 10th I think, just under the bridge, and has something like 100 or so beers from around the world. They even have a beer passport, around the world in 80 beers.
Oh, and Bottlescrew's is the only place I can find that has Lost Coast.

			Ephemere is excellent.
Anyone know where to get the Wild Rose Cherry Porter? Is it at CO-OP? Willow Park?

Also, I've heard it doesn't come in individual bottles. Is that correct?

Brew Brothers, Black Pilsner Dark Lager. I have had it at Fergus & Bix, and Amsterdam Rhino.

I picked up a Cherry Porter at the brewery on the Currie Barracks. It comes in an individual bottle (a big one though, 1 litre I believe) and it was about 15 bucks. The bottle is like this one, but the picture is actually showing the Royal 100 commemorative beer for MRU:

Had this last weekend with some buddies... is that you?

Basically it was the kind of stuff that'll knock you on your ass after two or three.

Only found in the Character Pack of other beers by the Tree Brewing Company at Willow Park

Does anyone know where in Calgary I can find the DOUBLE dead guy ale? Not the single? Willow Park doesn't carry it anymore

I had a new beer I hadn't tried before after work last night. I tried to find a photo on the web, but no luck. It was Boston Lager imported from the States. OK - I was in London Victoria, but I reckon it may be available in Calgary. Sorry i couldn't get a pic as when I google Boston Lager, all I get is Samuel Adams.
Another refreshing beer that is generally available is Nastro Azzuro (or Peroni) - which is my lager of choice.
