Ok so here's the scoop....

The other night I woke my spouse up in the middle of the night when I went to the bathroom. I guess splashing the pond can be loud when you are relieving about 2 litres.

She then goes and has the "potty discussion" with girls at work and now believes that most men sit down to use the toilet because it is more sanitary and respectfull.

I think some women have guys that aren't man enough to stand up with good aim.

So guys... Tell me... Do you stand proud! or sit like a lady?

i cant remember the last time i sat to pee. if you sit to pee you are fail. and im counting times when im so drunk my friends took bets to see if i could get home ok.

Standing up and letting out a stream is so much better than sitting down.

My wife hates it, and my 3 year old gives me heck when I don't put the seat down.

As for sanitary, just tell her that with some people there is a lot worse things that could be on the toilet. Let me just say the night after taco's occasionally looks like


She should be thankful that she just has to deal with an occasional split stream.

Someone here once said they sit to pee, as they think it's more polite while at people's houses.
Sometimes, I'll piss in the tub or poop in the closet just because I'm a man.

My girlfriend's ex always pissed sitting down. When she told me that I couldnt believe it. +1 to standing while pissing even in airplanes.

Always stand. Occasionally means a cleanup, but it's just so much more natural.

It's not sanitary either when your junk touches the bowl in many small toilets, elongated toilets FTW.

Don't forget to put the seat down when you're done. I made that mistake once and caught hell for doing so. Then there's the fact my aim isn't always good.

You're way too polite.

I always have to bend over to lift the seat up first. They can do me the courtesy of putting it back down when they want to use the toilet.
