Default How come all the bowling alleys are 5 pin??

5 pin sucks! what the hell man? I only know of one 10 pin alley down by down near Mout Royal College. You would figure they would try to incorporate some fun activity centers at areas like Chinook mall but nooooooooooooo, they have to have a huge bowling center dedicated to FREAKING FIVE PIN! ARRRGH! Man I wish I was back in Ontario going back to school. I would KILL for a venue like the Square One Playdium they had. OMG!

Pretty sure there are a couple of 10 pin places in the city.

Frank Sissons has ten pin. But every time I go in that place I am afraid I am going to catch herpes.

And because 90% of people who bowl are children.

Bowling is fun though.

Yep. 5 pin bowling is a novelty everywhere else in the world. Most people have heard of it but never had a chance to try it out.

I have tried it ...we have a version of it here in the US , its called Skee Ball. No pins in skee ball but you toss the same ball. The only thing I liked about 5 pin is that if I get frustrated enough I can throw that little ball overhand at somebody.

Frank sissons was redone and is very nice inside and now called century bowl. Of course with redoing it all the prices did go up.

There another one near there, by T&T 36th Ave? Forget what it's called. Or is it the same one.. I was there recently and it's all neon lit up on the inside.

They don't have 10 pin at that one, but Let's Bowl isn't very far away.

Do 5 pin bowling alleys cost less? I don't understand why they can't just have both in some places.

Let's Bowl is the best bowling in the city.

Victoria doesn't have 1 10-pin bowling anywhere close to it. Closest one is in Duncan, about 50 minutes out of town.

Damn, I miss bowling.
