Ouch, Frolik-Savard-Nash a combined -12. On ice for all 4 goals. Benching coming for at least couple of them.

Sharks fall to the Thrashers 5-4. Special teams was obviously the problem, as we were only able to kill 1 of the three penalties we took. Brent Seabrook was the lone bright spot, getting 2 assists and ending the night with a +3 rating.
Lots of stickwork in this game:

Alex Tanguay (ATL) for Hooking (Minor) at 6:55
Scott Hartnell (SAN) for Hooking (Minor) at 6:55,
Brian Willsie (ATL) for Hooking (Minor) at 9:56
David Clarkson (SAN) for High sticking (Minor) at 9:56,
Scott Hartnell (SAN) for High sticking (Minor) at 14:09
Pavel Datsyuk (ATL) for Tripping (Minor) at 0:21
Rich Peverley (SAN) for Hooking (Minor) at 0:21
Alex Tanguay (ATL) for Hooking (Minor) at 5:30
Derick Brassard (SAN) for Hooking (Minor) at 19:31
Matt Carkner (ATL) for Slashing (Minor) at 9:05

Also, the most embarrassing part of the entire game:

Alex Tanguay beats up Dustin Brown at 0:46 of 3rd period

Look at the standings, you are a much better team than I am...probably a much better GM as well because I can't figure out this damn sim!

This whole season has been inexplicable for the Dogs. We get worked yesterday 4-0, lose a 3rd D-man, and starting tender is too tired. Today we smash a team that should've killed us by all rights. The Coyotes getting some crazy sim love right now.

Change all of your sliders back to the original settings. After looking at quite a few game summaries, I've noticed that many GMs who haven't taken the time to move any sliders are beating better opponents.

Not saying this is the case for Phoenix, just a general observation.

Just going with the settings that have been working since the first few games of the season. That and I'm too lazy to keep tweaking them.

Wow I just beat the crap out of the Sens.
Ryan Potulny is injured at 11:23 of 1st period (Abdomen/Ribs)
Fernando Pisani is injured at 3:31 of 2nd period (Lower Body)
Marc Staal is injured at 13:40 of 3rd period (Torn Left Knee Ligaments)

All that and they lost to me 4-1.

Preds with the auto'd lines get a close win over the Avs. Colin Fraser goes down, but we should be able to weather that storm.

Moose drop one in the shootout, but another point for the squad that has turned things around after being worst in the AHL during the first part of the season.

I will never auto line or set all of my sliders to default even if it improves my chances of winning. Kind of takes away from the fun of the sim.
IMO, the sim should reduce the chances of winning for GMs who auto line.

Just to add fuel to the fire, I auto'ed Tampa's lines for their win today over the Flyers.
