Question I'm bored with the internet. Any suggestions?
When I'm at work, which is 2-4 nights a week, I basically just sit at a computer for 6 hours a night and surf the interwebs. But recently I've become bored.

The only limits for suggestions are that it must be at least semi-SFW. I am free to watch TV shows, read, play games, whatever.

Normally I read google news, the Herald, the LA Times. Occassionally I surf Cracked and similar sites.

Obviously I spend a lot of time on CP but that only goes so far on a slow night like tonight.

Any suggestions? Cool flash games, interesting news sites, free (legal ) online books or TV shows.

I like sites like Sporcle for interesting word games that make me think.

So, when you guys have hours to kill and few limits on what you can surf (no porn) what and where do you frequent?

I do have a touch and for some reason I don't have angry birds even though everyone raves about it.

I'm thanking people just for making suggestions without actually checking out the sites. If anyone is a thanks whore now's your time to shine. You can post pretty much any suggestion and I'll thank it.

When I have a full shift to fully explore the wonders of the interwebs I'll evaluate which sites work best.

Play a MUD (multi-user dungeon). Medievia is a pretty well known one. It's like WoW, text style. People have sunk 10+ years into MUDs.
