Most oil companies offer 8-15% matching of retirement type plans, most have flex days or the 2 fridays per month thing. Most offer some sort of allowance for health or gym memberships, most have bonuses and stock options etc. They may be better on the vacation thing but who knows since you really only hear a story here and there.
Suprising there isn't some sort of public benefits website that publishes this. I know ours does not write them down and likes to keep them as confidential as they can. If they were all out there it would surely better for the emplyees.

I'm not sure where you're getting 'most' from, but I've worked at Cenovus, Husky, and Nexen and my wife's worked at Suncor and Shell and none of those except Cenovus had the Fridays off. Now mind you, they don't work 8 hour days, but 8.5 so they don't actually get more time off, but I don't think this is an industry standard by any stretch of the imagination.
