I certainly did not say that someone was stupid if they did not vote for Nenshi. If you want to go through my posts in this thread you can clarify that for youself.
I am saying that the majority of the informed vote would not vote for Barb Higgins, because she didn't run a campaign that was gear towards informing those voters. If she did, she would have done things like participate in 3 candidate debates or have a detailed campaign.
Voting for someone based on name recognition doesn't make someone stupid.
Voting based on a perceived economic advantage to your industry is not stupid.
Electing someone based on name recognition alone, would make the city generally uninformed, which is pretty stupid in my opinion.
