The fact of the matter is that there are tonnes of guys playing rec hockey that can't/won't control their stick. I've taken a boatload of sticks to the face but managed to preserve my eyes by wearing a cage instead of buying into tough guy mentality that an injury won't possibly happen to me.

Yep, keep telling yourself that.

Wow, that was a well thought out reply. It's a good thing you have such a large amount of reasoning behind your arguement or otherwise you wouldn't have changed my mind.

When you are heckling someone, you don't really need a reason do you?

Okay, so you heckle guys wearing a cage for no other reason than you like acting like a bag?

Uh, yeah. That's what you do when you heckle someone. You act like an a$$hole.
Your in a thread, talking about hockey heckles and say you wear a cage. So I started heckling.
How is this so hard to understand?

First off, your "heckle" was so lame and non-specific that it was nonsensical. Secondly, go pound sand knuckledragger.

exactly. I'm wearing a cage in REC. hockey. I like my teeth. Your wife/girlfriend likes my teeth. Why would I risk ruining a relationship with a girl that likes it when I go backdoor?

Totally anecdotal but in the league the puckers play in, the majority of players who wear cages are complete dbags. They're all talk but still wear a cage. Not saying the above posters are, but if any guy is wearing a cage and makes some comment, that's the first thing I'm going for.
Actually Jayems is great at heckles...he should come to this thread and tell some of his wonderful rants.
