i noticed that the Bauer One somethig or other is listed at over $900 on Hockeymonkey - this skate is $850 at PHL. There are some skates that are the same price in Canada as they are at HM.

Default adult in jr skate

I can fit into a size 5.5 skate, which is a junior.
However the guy at sportchek told me it is not good for an adult to use a jr skate (forgot the reason he told me)
I had avoided in going into a jr skate and went with size 6.0, the smallest adult skate.
Has any adult used a jr skate, did this affect your fitting?

his commission would be less??

they look like they are the same skate. plus too big of a skate effects mobility

I would think also because Jr skates might not be made to support the weight of an adult . I am sure they wear down quicker since kids wear juniors usually have to by new skates more frequently than an adults.

Oh I have no idea where you'd be able to get them somewhere on the cheap. Most hockey shops will be pretty close in the 200 dollar range probably. Maybe some online store would be cheaper?

generally speaking SportChek will be one of the cheapest places to buy sticks in Canada. They can have good sales, and they also occasionally price sticks incorrectly.

NJ's price of $125 seems very very sweet - although you would have to factor in shipping and exchange.....

Yeah I can prob get him an extra discount that would cover some of the shipping. Just limited in curves and flexes. The '10 models are 170 i think but i could get it somewhere around of 155 or so ...
