Watching the last two Edmonton offensive sequences coalesced my concerns with the early game, and touches on your point: Until this latest drive, we've started with pretty awful field possession. Edmonton has been given the time to move the ball a bit or pin us on a kick return, and while it isn't enough to do much damage, it was enough to keep us around our 20 instead of our 40. As a result, we're moving the ball, but not scoring, and that puts us in position where a poor decision or bad luck can turn a game.
Our last two defensive stands reflected what we've done the last two times out against the Eskimos though. Not surprisingly, we got both a safety and great field position. Starting to get back to doing what we need to do to score points. Good to see going into the second half.
