Yeah the storm by Brooks is a bit of a nasty one but its moving fast. There is another cell SW of Medicine Hat that is huge, going to be big hail out of it. Anyone in the Hat should keep an eye out, the storm is headed for a fairly direct hit.

Yup, this is brootal!

Summer has changed so much here in the last 10 -20 years, or at least it sure feels like it.

I wonder if all those extra roof-tops causing this? ... NM, I'll ask Mr. Gore, He'll know.

I am so sick of this garbage. To be quite honest I could care less about the rain, but that god forsaken hail is screwing with everything, including my plans!

Doesn't matter much when the plants have been given all of 10 good growing days to produce. My carrots and beets are still at an inedible size.

Pretty sure he's talking about his taking over the world "plans", not "plants".

I’m not complaining about the weather - it’s so nice and green out for a change. I can’t remember another summer where I’ve had to use the lawnmower as many times as this year.

How is hail screwing with your plans?

Thunderstorms happen every year?

I think I'm allergic to the bad weather, my shoulders and back are a little red.

Came home from dinner last night to a yardfull of hail, didn't expect that! Was mostly pea-sized, so not much plant damage, but there was a lot of accumulation, looked like a good snow dusting.

Driving from the NW (Royal Oak) to downtown last night at around 7:30pm was really bad. It was raining like crazy. It seemed as if someone was above my car and just dumping buckets of water. There was a good amount of hail too. Not too big though.

So Odd.

Southwood must be Calgary's version of Tsawwassen (BC) Because again, we didn't get a single drop of rain.

We got the big black clouds and I could sure as heck hear (thunder) what was going on north of us, But it bypassed us again.

I was fortunate enough to be floating down the river for that one. Fun storm. Lighting was a little terrifying though.
