Dillion 333 I have just been playing the campaign and challenges and AI battles mostly though... I don't know if I'd enjoy the typical "zerging" online play... but I'm game if someone wants to have a match... I'm also not sure how these user name and numbers work... its different from using the battle.net real ID I assume?

I assume you're talking about zergling rushes. Although annoying they're actually pretty easy to hold off. Just make sure you have a wall at your ramp
If you're Terran, easy.
If you're Protoss place your Gateway and Cybernetics core (potentially a pylon as well, you'll figure it out) leaving one space for you to move through. Then put a Zealot in the hole and press "H" to put him on hold position. That Zealot will be able to fight Zerglings all day and they'll never get in your mineral line.
If you're Zerg...well...more Zerglings than they have.

That doesn't always work if your opponent uses banglings.

True. But Banelings are kind of an all-in. If they don't do pretty significant damage you've won the game just because you'll have a superior economy. When they're making zerglings/banelings they're not making drones...and you are.
We should probably have a starcraft 2 discussion thread rather than derailing the friend code thread.

I wish we could set user groups so I could organize the friends list. Is there a way? It would be nice to group you all in the CP group or something. Then we can do a tourney eventually.

I don't think there is such a feature at the moment, but I think that would be a nice feature to have.
I also heard some rumblings about a chat room feature that will be added in a future patch that would be very nice. Having a CP chatroom could be pretty nice option for arranging games like the old days.

Yeah, no channels in Bnet 2.0 is simply awful.

Ya it may be coming but basically thats Clan support... something thats missing and many of the old starcraft1 clans are bitching about it. Maybe battlenet will not suck someday... Speaking of sucking my roomate and I where having a match, in our house but because of no LAN support we had to connect through battlenet, the server dropped us and forced us both to surrender about 40 minutes in and middle of a good fight. Awesome sauce.

When you log in and get to the menu screen, down in the bottom right corner beside the clock is a little Person Icon. Click that and your Friends List will come up. At the bottom of that list click Add Friend and then click the Add A Character Friend button in the new window that pops up. Put in the name and code of the person you want to be buddies with and click Add Friend. =)

Well, this sucks. I pay $60 for this game, spend 12 hours downloading, installing, and patching, and the frigging menu screen causes my graphics card to crash after a minute or two.

That sucks. The good news is that it sounds like a well known issue with SC2. Maybe give this a try?

I tried that already. Went out and bought a new video card and the problem is fixed. Guess my old one just couldn't handle it.
