Rape isn't funny. I don't know why you find it funny but you need to check yourself. You have sick sense of humor.

I assume you are being sarcastic. But, just to be clear I am not part of that crowd of people who think rape is funny.

CTV
When Barb left the station Thursday she said that now was not the time or place to talk about her future plans, but that they would be announced soon.
We have learned that a local communications company in Calgary has purchased the domains barb4mayor.ca and barbhiggins.ca.
CTV Calgary will have more information as this story develops.

What makes a news reader qualified to be mayor?
She may be a good one (8cough* Ralph Klein*cough*), but I'm not sure being a local celebrity qualifies you to go straight to mayor.

It could be worse, she could have been an alderman.

I'm sure they already know exactly what her plans are. They're just doing it to hype up the anticipation of her campaign.

She doesn't stand a chance.....Unless the "uninformed" decide to show up in masses on election day.
Also, I keep hearing this inane comparison re: Higgins and Ralph Klein, That's just plain dumb.
Higgins read the news that was handed to Her.
Klein reported, investigated and researched almost exclusively about the goings on at City Hall. He probably knew more about City activities than most Aldermen. Talk about a qualified candidate for Mayor.

'Uninformed' and 'dumb' come to mind, yes.
Also, I believe Higgins is a CTV producer, which means a lot of research and writing of news as well.
