Yes, they say you can unlock them all in a week playing the game offline, but to do some of the requirements is just asinine and tedious.
If you're charging for boosts, at least fix some of the damn glitches in the game!

i do agree in proncipal. the boost system is lame. but it was a pretty small deal for me. a ton of the boosts were pretty easy to unlock, and then i just bought a few of the harder ones. i was able to max out my guy with just a couple days of playing to unlock stuff and under 10 bucks. so while i would love for them to ditch the idea, i felt somewhat better that at least i was able to keep up with the joneses without a whole lot of time or money.
i am also with you when you consider 99% of the use of boosts is online play. that extra revenue should go to ensure that online servers are better this year. all that extra money and i still cant consistently hear my teammates in eashl and get choppy lag all the time.

I would love to see online fixes, especially in the mic area. The game is so fun when everybody can communicate, but my games kept dropping and my mic never worked, so I stopped playing with the Fatas and just stuck to offline.

bah, I can't wait...I'm always stoked for the new NHL game, but usually it's accompanied by excitement for other games as well, but for whatever reason this year, the big triple A games just aren't pulling me in...Halo Reach, Fable 3...I just don't care that much anymore. It's all about NHL this fall.

That Bouncing Souls song is horrid, though.

I don't care for the soundtrack anymore now that I can do my own, but having the Final Countdown in there is pretty kick-ass.
I'm not getting my online dynasty am i?
NHL Slapshot is just embarrassing to look at. I'm sure kids might find something redeemable there, but seeing a grown man swing a toy hockey stick just looks ridiculous.

Nice work on the soundtrack. About time they had some arena classics in there.

I really wish they'd have the ability to have a classics WHA league with all of the old lineups and the blue pucks, the brawling and Gilles Gratoon skating around the ice like a Tiger.

And NHL classics & cup winners. 89 Flames, mid 80s Oilers, Philly, Hartford, Nordiques, etc.

I loved NHL 2004 on PC, so many mods from NHLdepot and cyberhockey, had all the classics. Damn I miss that game.

They should have all-decade teams or something.

Gamestop's website has a new physics trailer. EA's Twitter says it is exclusively for them.
http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/Prod...oduct_id=77302
I think it looks more promising than the last physics trailer, and the thought of new puck physics is tantalizing.

True, I remember him saying that "momentum" would influence the game, like if you have 20 hits to his 2 hits, then there team will be more timid, etc.
The only momentum I saw is when I scored 2 goals in quick succession their goalie would sometimes turn to complete crap and I'd score way more often.
I found the "momentum" thing to work with shooting and goals, but I could never find it to work with hits and "intimidation", like I still find no use for line 4, other than so line 1 can rest.
