The video at the end of the article is interesting. It is the top 10 World Cup Controversies, including Rivaldo, Materazzi, Hand of God and Harald Schumacher's 'challenge' on Robert Battison in 1982 - wow.
Of all the countries in this tournament, there is none I live closer to than North Korea. I just can't imagine what their players must be living with and what the consequences could be based upon their performances.

Of all the teams in that group, Portugal is by far the one I am least interested in seeing advance. North Korea would be a spectacle, and the Brazil vs. Ivory Coast game was excellent despite some pretty suspect reffing. Lots of talent and excitement with those two teams.

I've had a fascination with North Korea lately. I in no way support the regime, but to see the soccer team perform at the World Cup would be quite something even despite the unfortunate propaganda that would ensue.
I really like China as a place to live. I think China's pretty great. It's totally different from North America in many ways but the food is great and people are generally great.
I find the Northeast too cold, but it's kind of interesting and not bad for winter sports.
