yeah whats the deal with this? I keep hearing commentators mention something about it...but i havent heard any in depth explanation...is it more "bouncy" than normal or something?
They say this for every single World Cup. It's really just players making excuses for themselves. Nothing new here.

I've heard at least one player say it's more like a beachball than a football. It's really just whining imo as it's the same for all of the teams. It is what it is. Train with the ball and adapt. I believe that a lot of it is just in their heads.
Like Ark2 says they complain about the ball every world cup. Nothing really new.
The NK fan shot after the goal was pretty awesome, the whole section of them had exactly matching gear. Clearly the quota of 100 fans was met this quarter.

I was listening on the radio and they said that those were paid fans. No one from North Korea would be allowed to travel to the World Cup.
This may turn into a competitive group. Brazil playing like that might not automatically beat Portugal and CIV. But Portugal and CIV playing like that might not automatically beat PRK either. Should be fun!

I see your point, but the long ball is preferable to all the rushes that die on the vine for offside. I think people want to see shots on goal, not defenders looking to the ref with arms in the air.
I don't think you realize the extent of which it would change the game. It really wouldn't be soccer anymore.

they did use the ball in the Bundesliga for the last 4 months of the season though, and which team has looked the best so far...
