This looks suspiciously PS3esque... MS totally robbing Sony of their awesomeness. Wifi built in? How will they sell accessories? Stupid MS. :P

I'll agree that the Kinect demo was somewhat underwhelming, but what do you expect? These basic movement games have been tried on the Wii and they're fun for a while. I was not expecting a lot, and for those who complain, what did you expect?
I actually think the name Kinect is clever. The device is about social interaction and movement. Movement can be described as kinetic energy. The name fits well. It is targeting a new demographic and it works.
I can't believe anyone would really want to drive a video game car by holding their arms in the air and simulating a wheel. That's just annoying. To use the Kinect to make a good driving game, they should use the Xbox racing wheel and pedal to control the car, but use the Kinect to track your head movements so you can look to your left and right while racing. I have the Trackir Pro and use it on my PC. The ability to look around while racing (or better yet, flying) is awesome and provides a whole new level of immersion.
I'm sure I'll buy one just to give it a try, but so far see no reason for it to replace my Wii, which might have been turned on two or three times in the last year. Still, its a toy, and I'm sure I'll buy it.
Aside from the fact that it's black, it looks nothing like the curvacious uglyness puke that is Alienware. The 360 slim is quite attractive. If I had any use for one, I would buy this one. The cooling has been beefed up and everything's probably had a die shrink to reduce heat as well. I have some friends who were in attendance and they'll be getting one as swag.
Sorry, still not excited. I'm just not a console guy... much prefer running games of my computer, especially the ones that work in 3D. I do have a GameCube for multiplayer, but it doesn't get much use even though SmashBros is great. And even if the gameplay is awesome... it would be so much better 1080p. Better resolution for each of you and your three friends than the current single player mode.
