Default Wild bring in elite scorer

The Minnesota Wild are pleased to welcome Martin St. Louis to the organization. He arrives with a suitcase full of money - in exchange for Stephen Weiss and Travis Hamonic.

GM Farhall:
Martin is one of the best pure snipers in the league - and we think paired with Paul (Stastny) he will put up one of his best years.

Thanks to Ravi for the quick and easy talks.

I like this for the Ducks. I think he got excellent value for St. Louis here. But then again, I hate St. Louis and he'll never be a Jacket.

He may never win another Hart trophy, but STL is still a damn good player. Good pickup by Grant, who seems to be on the right path to cure his hoarding ways.

Well we brought in Marty for a playoff run, he did ok for us but wasn't as good as we wanted. Weiss is still relatively young and should fit in nicely up the middle. Hamonic is also a good young prospect that can sit in the minors and develop for us.

Grant only gained about 0.5 mill in cap which is probably the main reason he did this deal. For us we get younger and add some more prospect depth which is nice.

Thanks to Grant for the easy talks!

I'm calling BS that won't have him as a jacket! You would take him and flip him if you thought you could make a quick return!

Nope he will never be a Jacket or on an team I have. Ravi asked me if I had interest and I really didn't have interest in even starting trade talks.

Me no like him.

I think that Cheese would have you trade them to me for Reinprecht. After all Reinprecht can play for you this season and has a better rating today, whereas those guys are going to toil away in the ECHL for another season.

Reinprecht is therefore worth more than Duchene and Schenn combined at this point in time!

I would take a word of advise from cheese any day, Odds are he'll be hoisting the Cup a year from today where most of us will be all giddy with how stocked our EChl team looks on paper

you have my respect, you just won't use Sutter to fund you Cup run with
