No, I'm just suggesting that you might find more satisfaction from another forum with more kindred spririts. That is my personal experience. That's all. If I really wanted to talk a lot about something that I really was passionate about, I usually find a very focused forum and it's a much more satisfying experience. That's all I am saying.

Oh, sorry. I get it now.

Anyway, I know people here. There's a pretty big Apple community here, and we get a long just fine talking about stuff. I'm not going anywhere else.

Again. 3 threads in 7 days. There are 5-10 threads created every day. That means 3 Apple threads out of 35-70 threads.

I don't see the problem you're seeing.

If you bring back Pew Pew Cat as your avatar, I will be happy to see your name as the original poster of 9/20 threads appearing on the first page.

I still can't believe people are ragging on me because I created a thread 2 years ago that is still on the front page.

Like come on, man. How can I even answer to that?

Again, it's all about visibility. People just see the threads and see your name. Not the thread date. I'm just explaining why people are singling you out for attention.

Half the threads are from you. The most outspoken guy is usually the guy who gets the attention (good and bad).

Now please bring back Pew Pew Cat.

I have to remember where I put that cat...

That's the thing though. People see that and rag on me, but they're not even thinking. How long does it take to look at a created date? I've said it before and I'll say it again... If I had created all those threads in the last week (hell, even in the last month), then I would agree and would definitely step back.

They span 2 years, though. I can't do anything about that. I'm sorry if people are still discussing a thread I made 2 years ago, or 6 months ago, or 1 month ago, or last week... etc.

If people didn't discuss these things, then I wouldn't post them. I'm not an ego-maniac, I don't need to see my name plastered all over the place that badly.

It's not all the threads that FanIn80 starts that bothers me. But, I can see how it can bug some people. (Then again what happened to don't care, don't click?)

It's that people are giving him a hard time in almost every one of those threads and derailing the whole thing...

Yeesh, really? The COUNT of Apple threads bugs people? Guys, get a life.

FanIn80 also creates threads about programming problems.

Oh and has anyone ever noticed that Bingo guy. He posts about something called Game Takes like 3 times a wee during the hockey season. What a loser.

I understand the complaining about Fan's threads, but at some point you have to recognize when you cross the line and just start giving all the threads you don't like free bumps. If people truly aren't interested in them they'll just go away.

And if they don't go away, nobody is forcing them to click on the thread. Just ignore it.
