2010 Hottie Draft REDUX - Workshop
With the Maxim 100 and the hottie list, I've received PMs and suggestions about a new and improved hottie draft.
This is a thread to see how much interest there is.
Categories will probably be similar. Might throw in a few wrinkles.
Draft will move fast and will be daytime only.
Stuff like that, I don't know. Earliest it would start is June 1.
So what do you think?
You guys know the drill. Those interested say I'm IN.
Any questions post here.

Daytime only? Does that mean I have to be awake when people are at work?

Daytime meaning something like 10am to 10pm, or noon to midnight.

any excuse to look up picutres of hot women while at work.
I just hope that eventually we can actually finish one properly instead of it just degenerating at the end to "choose whoever whenever" :P

There was a suggestion of countries somaybe more regions. Like Great Britain and Scandinavia.
There will also be a new feature. I will have a list of one fairly obscure girl in each category. Match this girl and you get to immediately pick again.

There should be a geek hottie category too. But an actual geek though. Not just some chick killing time as a presenter on a gadget show until Playboy calls or whatever.

Really? There are tons of hot geek celebrities. I'm not just talking about the ones on tech shows, I mean any hot chick with geek-cred.
Tina Fey comes to mind as an example.

Only if I can pick dead people too. Beauties from the past.

I'm pretty sure that's going to be one of the categories. I had suggested "classic" but we settled on "dead."
Dead does sound more hardcore...

I've found that the drafts that actually get completed are the ones with around 10-12 categories. Wasn't there a comic book draft that got done similarly?
If you want it to not take up a super-long time, I'd suggest something like that; the bare-essential (snicker) categories that everyone knows, and just put everyone who has been selected before back in the pot.

Categories might be the same but less people. If you get the right dedicated people and it isn't too long between turns, they could pick 100 people.
I think there will be one or two dead categories. Died old, died young?
So morbid!
---
and yes everyone is back in the pot.
