We know Fulcrum was a renegade offshoot of the CIA who didn't believe that they could fight the war on terror using traditional means, and they had to use tools like the Intersect, thats why they wanted it.

We know that Fulcrum is a subset of the Ring, its been mentioned before.

I actually have a theory that the Ring is in fact a renegade group thats threaded throughout the CIA, the NSA and the military, thats why we see Casey's old special ops boss, and Casey's identity was so easily changed.

Fulcrum agents saw themselves as patriots trying to save America from its own weaknesses. Basically any path to victory.

But I'm not convinced that Beckman and the CIA are neccessarily on the side of angels here. There's too much going on in the background.

Yeah, when you mentioned that this morning, I had this crazy thought of Chuck, Casey and Sarah figuring out that they've been played this whole time and that The Ring would turn out to be the good guys who have been trying to stop this "rogue CIA project."

That would be crazy... but would be pretty interesting to see it played out.

I'm still convinced that Morgan who just wants to really be respected and grow up is going to be approached by the Ring, and turned against Chuck and Sarah. Of they'll give him a story that the CIA is corrupt and Chuck is in incredible danger and offer him the chance to "save" his best friend.
I keep thinking how awesome it would be if the Ring which we know is trying to get the intersect, gives their own version to Morgan.

But my darkness would have the series ending with Chuck standing over Morgan's body after killing him.

Hmm... Morgan as Chuck's Dr. Claw? Haha, that would be pretty wild.
It seems doable. While they are clearly still best friends, they've lost that "Chuck watching over Morgan" element, ever since Morgan was filled in on what's going on. I also get the sense that Morgan is trying to "grow up" and I can see him becoming the anti-Chuck.

The Ring should recruit Kristen Kreuk...because she is HOT!
Death is a great way to end the series. I was thinking it would be Chuck, via a fried brain. I like the idea of Chuck vs. Morgan.

I just finished watching and what an awesome episode and it sets things up for next weeks two hour season finale.
A couple of things, I think its interesting that Sullivan (?) a ring agent was working in a CIA office.

The intersect looked suspiciously like the intersect room in the first season in the CIA, and when Shaw activated it, it showed that it was configuring it to Agent Shaw, so it was looking at his CIA record.

This goes further to the Ring being either a rogue CIA group, or as I think that the Ring might actually not be the bad guys here.

Casey gets his butt kicked by Ellie. I was cringing as he came around the corner, I thought Ellie was going to shoot him.

Is it me, or is Chuck's dad just a little bit flighty. I think the governor isn't working that well.

And Yvonne in underwear, a brief breakup by chuckster and finding the long lost member of Earth Wind and Fire points to a winning episode.

Holy Chuck! Chuck me that was soooo good. I have to say I'm so happy this show got re-newed because if I had to watch an episode of this caliber before it went off the air, I wouldn't know what to do with myself.
Scott Bakula is an amazing actor!

 2 hour finale next week!

Sarah throwing that Hatchet to block the knife in the Cabin was so freaking awesome.
I loved the Awesome and Morgan talk. Just the little shipper in me, it's the one thing that isn't depressing about the Ellie character is her relationship with Awesome.

Sarah Lancaster is doing a killer job with her biggest storyline on the show yet.

Jeffster..."you have the hips of a 6 year old girl"

What a perfect ending. Chucks voice over while Shaw downloads the intersect was extremely well done.

I think next episode will mark the end of the buy more for good.

That was the most angst y Chuck episode ever produced.

I expect another game changing twist come next monday.

Lost 2 and a half hour finale Sunday then Chuck 2 hour monday. Not to shabby

I just have a funny feeling that Chuck is going to get betrayed.
But Shaw with the Intersect, who's going to stop him now. I would assume that he downloaded the 2.0 version.
