All this guy did was sell SEEDS, we are going backwards now

I just went to BCMP for the first time a couple weeks ago, awesome place, this guy is really an interesting person. All he is, is an advocate to legalize pot, Americans take weed way to serious.

Emery's a bit of a moron, I have very little sympathy for a guy like him.
He basically massively broke American Laws by selling seeds to the U.S. in massive quantities. The DEA had every right to ask for his extradition.

What about the people who purchased his seeds to grow not for themselves but for the purposes of trafficking? How many of those drug dealers were suffering from some sort of debilitating illness?

IIRC I don't think his intentions were to sell to traffickers. Good intentions turned into political backlash from a generation of fear-ridden baby boomers raised on "Reefer Maddness."

Of course he's going to be public about his intentions wasn't to sell to traffickers. If he says he doesn't care who bought it or he was catering to traffickers it pretty much is money in the bank for the prosecutor.
In the same breath, I can't believe he'd be that naive in selling his plant seeds without knowing where they were going to some extent.

His intentions don't really matter at this point. He didn't have a mechanism in place to prevent it. He pretty much opened his business wide open and didn't refuse orders.
So its great that he wanted to help people, but I wonder how many of his seeds were purchased for profit by the worst elements of society?
Frankly he knows that the U.S. is fairly intolerant of drugs, he'd have to be an idiot to think that the DEA wouldn't badly want him. This isn't about being a crusader, or a hero, this is about a guy who was kinda stupid.
