The original atomic clock, Apollo astronaut Scott Carpenter, Dead Kennedys frontman Jello Biafra, Celestial Seasonings tea, and the terrible, and as yet unsolved, murder of a 6-year old beauty queen.

Unbelievable they haven't solved that murder, and you forgot the IMD ex girlfriend Kristin Davis.

Big Head Todd and the Monsters??

Don't remind me. My dad dragged me to a bunch of their shows when I was in high school and they were still just a local act. Totally not my scene. Decent band, just not my thing. I was also going to mention Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer), but wasn't sure how much of a celebrity she is outside of the Twin Peaks fanbase.

Oh, but that the new Sink. I've grown up with all nefarious stories about the old Sink, and I left town before I was old enough to go there. What's happened to this place is just a reflection of what's happened to the whole town. All the self-righteous, moneyed, politically correct immigrants have changed Boulder so much, I can barely stand to go into town anymore. I'm glad my family live outside town now, so I don't have to enter, except to go to McGuckin Hardware.

I thought that picture looked a little too...tidy.
The Sink provided one of the most fun nights of my life back in the spring of 1990. It was a great place to stumble upon back then.

Lacombe AB,
Known for having 1 of 5 flat iron buildings in either the world or NA (can't remember) and having 1 of only 2, 5-way stops too I believe.
Hooray!
That 5-way stop in Lacombe is insane. Just an incredible junction. Lacombe is a real neat little town actually.
You forgot Kelly Hrudey, he's from the Medicine Hat Tigers.
edit: oh.. current NHLers..
Speaking of which, Lanny McDonald, Trevor Linden and Chris Osgood are other notable players who are both retired NHLers and Tigers alumni. Additionally, Tyler Ennis should be on that list of current NHLers.

hahaha... yeah. For many, it does. "It's a teepee ------ it's really tall."
And yeah... that murder case was seriously messed up. It's scary that humans have the ability to do that to other humans - let alone their immediate family - in cold blood. Even if mental instability played a role, it's just very disturbing to think about.
