Default Do you like Google's new look for search results ?

It's not a radical change or anything, they just added stuff to the side and a few other things.

Sometimes I wish they would leave well enough alone. It seems like they're trying to be more like their competitors (Bing, Yahoo).

I don't really see the point to it and it seems repetitive. All the links you need were at the top and took up less space up there.
I doesn't really bother me too much though.

Me too.

The image posted by the OP looks cluttered and messy. I agree, they should leave it be.

I ran a search in firefox using the little google toolbar and when I got the results I actually physically typed "www.google.com" in the address bar because I thought I had used a different search engine.

I'm liking it. makes searching more intuitive. If I am looking for a sushi place, it comes up, if I want some ######ing celeb gossip, I get blog and twitter posts... Pretty slick.

We noticed this at work last week, I was sure the laptop my coworker was using had had its browser hijacked or something. I have not seen it other than on that one computer.

I once Google'd "Google"

I felt like an idiot afterwards.

No, I want everything centered. Everything is hanging to the left side and leaves half my screen blank. It's stupid.

What a waste of space. Can't they dynamically increase the number of results or the amount of information provided under each link with the added screen space?

I'm not sure what to think about it. Doesn't feel too much different, but looks different.

Agreed. I checked settings and there appears to be no way to go back to the old view. I don't like it at all....

I fataing hate it. At least put that useless crud on the right side. Google's search results are getting less useful anyhow. Just put a link to wikipedia as the first link, it does that anyhow.

It does look extra cluttered now with the sponsored links on the right, in addition to the top page links that they've left untouched for some reason. There are now links completely surrounding the content.

On the plus side image search is bad-ass. Do an image search for calgary flames. You can view pictures that only have faces in them, a particular size, or are predominantly one colour. That's pretty swank. I realize you could have done that before, but to have it there within a click is handy.

Now I can look for images that are mostly pink!
