Well the Flames still have two games to play so none of them will be in the tourney....But it does start tommorrow.
Big story obviously is Tiger Woods return to the tour. Anthony Kim won last week, is this the time for him to step up and win his first big one? Ernie Els was playing well in March, does he finally collect a green jacket.
This year I'd happily take the field in a Tiger vs. the field bet. I think Tiger will finish top 20, but not in the top 10.

I dont think Tiger will win either...just been away from the game for too long and dealing with so much stuff in his personal life has to affect him mentally.
Im watching that McElroy (sp) kid from Ireland...looks like he has everything needed to compete in majors.

Alsao...watching the par 3 tourney right now....what a terrific event.
Furyk, McDowell and someone else have all aced a hole. Arnie drained a 40 footer on the 9th, great stuff. Duval and some Amateur leading, though that is not important.

God I love the Masters. Everything about it, from the Par 3 contest with the players' kids caddying wearing the traditional white coveralls, to the syrupy sweet background music as Jim Nantz waxes poetic about apple pie or something. The biggest reason I love it though is it truly means the start of golf season is upon us, and we get to kick it off by watching the greatest golf tournament in the world.
Players I'll be watching closely this week:
Tiger - I would love nothing more than to see him pull off another win for the ages.
Ernie - He deserves a green jacket more than just about anyone else.
The young guys, Ryo Ishikawa, Rory McIlroy, and sixteen year old reigning British Am champ Matteo Manassero. I think Ishikawa probably has the best chance out of the teenagers, he's got so much game and has actually won some golf tournaments as a pro. I think he's going to be the next dominant player in golf.
Even without the Tiger Woods story, this Masters has a ton of interesting storylines and is definitely shaping up to be a great tournament. Can't wait.

Looks like the weather will end up being the biggest story of day 1. Not looking good at all with a pretty nasty system taking dead aim at the area...i will feel it a couple hours later as well.
Some early scores to talk about though...
Weir is even thru 8
Steve Marino leads at -3 thru 10.
Tom Watson, Anthony Kim, defending champ Cabrera, and David Toms all one back.
Mickelson and Goosen -1.
Geoff Ogilvy, Luke Donald, at +4, Ian Woosnam is +8 and already likely killed his chances of making the weekend.
Tom Watson is off to a pretty good start 2 under so far after 10. Steve Marino who always seems to play well early in majors is 3 under. Others like Anthony Kim and defending champ, Angel Cabrera, Bernard Langer who always seems to play that course well also at 2 under.
