Looks like pyrite but I can't be sure just from a picture.

Pretty sure that's the pure form of Gramalogmesomotranzozyte.

Nah, it's not pyrite. You can't really tell from the picture, but its kind of blue and has linear ridges in it.
Pyrite is kind of yellow and has cubic crystal formations.
Who knew it would be so hard for a girl to get her rocks identified around here?

I can understand why you would come to that conclusion. Gramalogmesomotranzozyte and Magnepentazeltinadine Alloy are often confused. The stripthines or "Driknleoids" as they are more commonly known, lead me to believe that it is indeed the purest form of Gramalogmesomotranzozyte Crystal.
Have you forgotten the famous paper written by Professor SmearFarten in the eary 60's that proved these facts?

No secret at all. It was in a box of things that came to me from my dad. It's been sitting on my shelf for the last 15 years or so. I used to know what it was. If I heard it again, I'd remember in a heartbeat. Something starting with "M" or "P", I think. Molybdenum? I seem to recall that my dad ordered it from a rocks & gems place that specialized in lab-grown crystals. Whatever it is, it wouldn't normally form this crystaline structure.
