Huge, huge win for the Flames today. Flames get huge games from Robert Lang (1 goal, 3 assists), Jaromir Jagr (2 goals, 1 assist), Keith Tkachuk (2 goals). The win moves the Flames 4 points up on the Jackets, Jackets have one game in hand.
Well I deserve it for not getting lines in. No one around to do them for me either it seemed. I may have to reevaluate my participation in this league after the season. Not getting lines in is no fun and only hurts my team.
The suddenly injury riddled Preds drop another this week to Colorado. We have another guy go down and Crombeen was suspended in the minors. I think I have enough players to ice a team here without making major changes...but its getting a bit sketchy!
It would be cool to see the Flames in the playoffs. I know I am not the only GM who assumed their pick would be top 3 this year. Great job making some tough moves Mike, bringing in Spezza, Koivu (I think it was him) and others has really boosted the team. I'm definitely pulling for the Flames to make it!

Oilers officially clinch a playoff berth with the Jackets loss coupled with our win. We've actually had a really poor second half, but have managed to get into the playoffs again. Looking forward I think it's probably the last year of our run unless I figure out how to absolutely pwn some noobs in a few trades this off season.
At least one thing went right on my birthday. It sure started out badly with the NHL Flames today.
