I've been a bunch of times too, and it was a neat place (I disagree, it was special, but it never caught on).
I live south-central so it's tough to make it up there unless it's someone's birthday.
That place must have cost a fortune to build, but you could just tell it was going to die. Too many TVs, not enough hot waitresses.

I have never heard of it. Their website is still active and mentions a UFC event on the 27th.

My wife and I went there a once last summer for lunch and drinks. We also went there quite a few times last fall/winter for brunch on Sundays. It wasn't the best food and during brunch our service was hit and miss but I really appreciated the atmosphere.
If they have indeed shut down, it would be pretty sweet to scoop up a couple of those big TVs.

I have heard and read many bad reviews of that place. It has stopped me from going in, even though I live in the NE

I don't mind the Flight Deck, but if I am in that area I usually go down to Scotsman's Well

Problem with Flight Deck is that there is never any parking because you have people like me, parking everywhere for the T&T supermarket. hehehe

I went there for the first time in February, it was a neat place. My Uncle played there one night, not much of a dance floor was my only complaint.

I've had the brunch at the Flight Deck and thought it was really good.
Every single item on the Scotsmen's Well menu is horrible. They fail at making food.

The place was doomed since day one, 6-8 month delay in opening, brutal food and service, expensive booze and dummys as managers.
I ordered a 12 ounce ribeye their and it was "frozen blue" in the middle (not kidding) and the manager had the nerve to say " happens" I got piszed and told him for 1, the steak is about 8 ounces and for 2, AAA steaks should never be frozen. So he says "the meals on me...don't come back!"

When did you eat there? I notice that they've had a menu change or two over the past 18 months. Perhaps there were other changes as well. Could explain why others have had okay experiences and yours was so deplorable.

They had huge menu changes, and for the worse IMO. At the start, it was half decent, but it went downhill fast.

My brother works there so hopefully they don't close any time soon, but I've heard crazy stories about the poor management and huge startup costs. I think they're turning the corner with the new menu, and hopefully they can get in the black.

I went there 2 maybe 3 times. I drive past it everyday. They spent about $120,000 just on the tv's, which IMO was a huge waste as they could have used that money to help control the massive debt.
First time I went there the server was terrible and they undercooked the chicken in a salad. The next time I went for wings (ooh 10 cents, hold on) was a waste. 10 cent wings but you have to get a $5 drink for every 10 wings so it ended up costing us $38 for like 40 wings and drinks. I go to my usual place and get 50 wings + 4 beers for $22.
I would recommend not checking it out. Terrible place. From a managerial perspective, it must have been run by monkeys.
Honestly, if you can't cook chicken properly when it is sliced .8mm thin, then you need to find a new profession.
