Yeah, we used to have awards like
Doug Risebrough viscious Bas-|-ard award for the poster who'd snap and attack another person at the drop of a pin. Lanny and Johnny Flame always were up for this.
Vesa Vitakoski award for best female poster based on Vitakoski's courage on the ice and his good looks IIRC
Bag on Head award winner for the poster who would always blindly step in and defend the Flames no matter how bad they were getting killed in the arguement.
Dickie Dunn award for best game takes writer.

These could be fun. But how about some with a local bent instead of copying verbatim the league trophies.... the "Shergill" for best meltdown comes to mind, or the "Polly Peena" for most bizarre post (Ren wins this year).
Perhaps the "Cowperson" for favorite poster, or the "Bingo" for best game story.

Art Ross should go to the poster with the most "points" (Thanks) accumulated during the season.
Pearson should be voted on by all posters, not just the mods as the actual award is chosen by the winner's peers.

I think the Bag on Head award should be for the person who puts their foot in their mouth the most often, but doesnt even try to back track. Just accepts the fact that what they said was stupid.

I don't hate myself. I hate everyone else for not being exactly as I want them to be. There's a difference.
