I work as a web marketer. I can think of all sorts of ways to make some money with this site. Send me a PM and if you want, we can setup a meeting to throw some ideas around.

That's funny, when I first read this, I thought that a great name for the site would be Stripper Poll.

Well done.

I didnt wanna make a new topic but is anyone else using adsense? I was curious what the average amount of money is ??? I only ask because I made OklahomaMoondawgs.Blogspot.com and I have had it since friday and put adsense on saturday . It says I have made $15.07 so far. I thought that seemed like a lot in such a short time . Kinda makes me want to go make an actual website and see what I can do.

That's pretty good for like 3 days. I went and just clicked the ads a bunch of times for you anyway.

HAHA... thank you I just didnt know if this was normal ... it says 20% of the impressions get clicked. My local hockey shop and even an online hockey shop has asked if I have plans to get my own domain since I have a relatively high traffic count for being so new and they like my content. Obviously the online place they would have to see if the traffic keeps up but said they could possibly be willing to pay me to put up their ads .... Sounds sweet to me!

I didnt make the blog to make money but if I can make a little , why not.... Put it towards the teams hockey league fees in the winter! It also gives me a couple more ideas

Haha the best thing I can think of is to have profiles of the strippers, but I doubt every girl would want to be out on the net. But maybe they all have cam sites nowdays for all I know!

If you could work out deals between your favorite clubs users could pre-order? lapdances online through your site (enter coupon code rome). Just take a peice of commish on it and users could become addicted to this kind of thing. haha. The clubs would come to understand that people were getting to know their establishments from your site too.

Anyway pretty far fetched on the whole. But it sounds like a good niche good luck!

I signed up to it but I didn't pursue it. Anyway, from what I have seen around the internet, they send you a check. But I have also seen pictures where they get transferred to their bank online.

Once you make a certain amount of money Google will send you a pin number. There are instructions included, and from there you can release your money.

They send it as a check, or put it into your bank account.

Whoa, dude, that's... a lot of money. I've had adsense up on my blog for maybe two months and I've made $1.66. That's the other side of the spectrum for you.

Dude, you make that much money with that few visits? I average about 200 visits a day. More often than not, it hovers around 250.

I own a website that makes a nice haul every month, and our key is we're using ADs directly for people who want to reach our users, we get as many as 3-4 million hits a month and have a forums that has about 20,000 active users, well at least 15k (havent checked in a while.)

The key I found is when I took it over I went to the companies that would want to directly get ads to our users, in your instance you should have lots of interesting partnerships with clubs and eventually even probably expand to hosting sites for strippers themselves looking for more exposure.

You could build a brand based on your reviews and again be careful with forums they need a very active moderator base to keep the crap out.

The ideal model is to use whatever is your home base, hopefully its Montreal and build a great relationship with the clubs, the girls and especially build a solid reputation. There will be lots of opportunities to promote events in clubs, etc.. Should be fun!

The ads are on the right side ... google ads.... Yeah I am not sure if maybe just a lot of people are clicking or what but I am happy. I am thinking of making our team own website and then possibly a forum similiar to CP but for OK and Tx hockey. I think it would get good use , since I am seeing a ton of younger hockey players here coupled with our new AHL team coming. I dunno we will see I guess, makes it tough since im tech stupid. I know id need to host and then use a free or pay for board but other than that... I know nothing.. trying to figure it out as I go !

Wow, I just realized I can't see them because of Adblock. I guess I am a little slow today. I forget I have it sometimes because I have it disabled on CP so I get ads here but no where else.

edit: Most hosts have blog type software and php forum (and alot more) for free as part of the hosting. You can probably get something in the $10-20 a month range that will handle your initial traffic with ease. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, then see if there is someone on your team who can help you set up the free options. Even if you end up using a free or buy a cheap template it should be good to start with.

Do people have actual suggestions on websites to check out for hosting, etc?

I have never understood how you can get a free blog, and then advertise on it? Is it because you have to get some sort of premium blog account (monthly hosting fee) that transfers the blogs right to advertise over to you or something?

Well I signed up for a blog and i was messing around and saw something that said "Monetize" I clicked it and read through it. I signed up for an account with Google's ad sense and they gave me a Html code to put in my blog . Then you can track the $$ through clicks.
