Old Arcade memories! Some custom pinballl machine.

This is the only video game in the world where you want it to be game over. Game over man, game over!
I really miss pinball machines. Come to think of it, are there even any arcades left in Calgary? My favorite still has to be the T2 pinball.

This dude made a custom, from scratch BILL EFFING PAXTON pin ball machine?! If that doesn't scream Greyhound decapitator version 2.0, I don't know what does.

Bill effing Paxton on a pinball machine. I am creeped the eff out.

For me when I was younger, there was two... The Punisher, and Golden Axe. Freakin' great games. As well, there was a time when all I did was play Star Wars Arcade (I think they still have it at Scotiabank Theatre, I'm not sure). I could pretty much pass the game on one loonie. It was pretty embarassing.

When I was in Japan last year, I would challenge teenagers to Virtua Fighter 5. It was awesome. I'd get my ass kicked relentlessly by those super-humanoid video game freaks over there. It was an honor to do so.

There was a really great Simpsons arcade game at the Soccer Center back in the day that I was able to beat one dollar.

You should rage at him with Twitter. Tell him Bill Paxton is no Bill Pullman.

You have trouble with the "Find People" on Twitter so I thought I'd help you out: http://twitter.com/benheck |

I grew up in Innisfail and they had Videoland Pizza. Part pizza place, part video rental, part arcade. Pretty much the greatest place of all time. They had tabletop arcade games like 1942. God I miss the hell out of that place. To this day I haven't been able to find crazy bread like that. The closest i've found was Pizza Delight in the SW.

The last, great arcade in Calgary seems to be at the Greyhound bus station just off 9th Ave. You step into it, and it feels you have stepped back in time at least 20 years.
Another great arcade is that one in the mini golf place in Kelowna, but that one is full of newer games from the 90's era, i.e. craptacular.

I remember the 6 player X-men game at (I think) Laser Illusions at Marlborough Mall. I was blown away by how awesome that game was.
