I hope they took that air horn, stuffed it up the guy's butt and then pressed the button. That was really lame.

Canada with a 3-0 lead over Norway after 5 ends in the gold medal game.

Bad throws for both skips on their last rock.

Another steal. 3-0 after 5. That's a huge lead for a guy like Martin.

So close to a steal of 2 if Martin's last stone hadn't rubbed. Oh well. still in great shape!

What a great olympics for Canada!

True. But if I remember correctly, it was against Norway in the round Robin that Martin was up 3 or 4 points (can't remember)... and they were still able to tie it. Although, I think that was from a stupid call on Martin's part that caused it.

Why does Norway have the Hammer like 3 times in a row? I know Canada had it the 1st two, but I thought they switched every round.

I really don't understand curling, so sorry.

You only give up the hammer if your team scores.

I wish the Norway skip was named Thor. So many Thor's hammer jokes to be made.

You lose the hammer if you score.

The last team to get scored against gets the hammer.

Canada scored with the hammer in the second, so Norway got it in the third. Canada has scored all the points since, so Norway has kept the hammer.

So Martin's aim is to get Norway to score 1, so he gives up the hammer. The hammer is worth much more than 1 point but Martin has been doing even better by stealing points.
