This is beginning to sound like a broken record.

1. Accuse oil-rich muslim country of having weapons of mass destruction

2. Continue to spread lies and fear about said country through the media

3. Bomb/invade the "evil" country and make sure you get the oil for a bargain price.....

Look up "Operation Ajax".......even though it happened many years ago, it tells you the truth about western interests in Iran..

Israel is just a whistle blowing patsy for the U.S....

Are they not developing enriched uranium, or weapons grade nuclear material?

What lies? About their election results, their execution of protestors, their beating of people in the streets? Their lack of denial about developing enriched uranium? Their basic message to the UN telling them to f-off?

Are these all being made in a hollywood sound studio?

Yeah cause thats worked so well for the Western World as the benefits of these wars have driven their deficits so deep into the turf that aquiring free Oil won't even help them pay it off.

I love it when back seat QB's use stuff from the 50's or earlier when the world was entirely different to prove their points. Please show me proof that Operation Ajax is being used now to stir up these protestors or tip over the government.

Yeah because Iran proudly announcing that they would like nothing better then to push the state of Israel into the sea and murder that nation doesn't have an effect on Israel's fortress mentallity and its strategic ties to the U.S.

NO country on this planet has the balls to use a nuke........NOBODY. That includes Korea, Iran and the rest of 'em....

1. Nuclear weapon development is nothing but a propaganda device to spread fear....

The truth is that nobody knows for sure if Iran is making this weapons grade uranium. Just like in Iraq............and if they were, so what? There is a difference between simply having a weapon in your posession, and actually using it...

2. I personally believe that the U.S. had a hand in rigging the election. They want the "bad guy" in there so they have a reason to take over one day..

On Israel.......please. They aren't exactly saints over there.....
It takes two (or more) to tango.

You don't know that, and the nut case element in Iran makes it an even more unstable situation. This is a government that is run by people who firmly believe in martyrdom and the extermination of Israel.

Sure in the hands of a stable nation. Iran isn't a politically stable nation

Iran has passed two of the three major stages of creating a nuclear weapon. They are making the material, They have the delivery system since nuclear war heads can be used in combination with their Scud C and Shahad 3 missiles. The easy part is actually bomb assembly.

Personally I don't want these weapons in the hands of fanatics who fund and support terrorist groups and who have cried out to the hills that Israel must die. The members of the nuclear nation The U.S., France, Britain, Russia, China and Israel among others have nuclear weapons and see them as a last option, I don't trust that AcMyJacket sees them as a a last option, nor do I believe that their revolutionary council see's it as a last strike weapon.

Sure it does, nobody ever disputes that, and Israel can be their own stiff necked worst enemy.

However Israel has been constantly attacked from the start of their existance, they went through a period where 6 million jews were turned into air polution, the nations around them for the most part don't recognize them and have done their best to try to destabilize and attack Israel either directly or through proxy. So yeah, I can see why Israel would be tangoing.

Israel wouldn't even hesitate to use a nuclear bomb for a second if their livelyhood was in danger.

They have a law for it too. Can't remember what its called though.

I can't remember the name of it either. But it basically is still pretty stringent, I believe it involves a hopeless conventional situation, the threat or destruction of civilian population centers and the use of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons.

The way I see it is that Iran wants to arm itself against fears that the U.S./Israel will gang up and invade them.......and it is perfectly valid. They dont want to be bullied.....

The thing with nuclear weapons is that after you use one on your enemy, another country is going to step in and use theirs against you. It is just a deterrent.

I don't believe that any leader is unstable or lacks intellegence, despite how our media portrays them...

The Israelis would inflict a hell of a lot of carnage if they were backed into a corner. I hope to never see that day come to pass.

Yes because that threat has been prevelant for a long time. The American's have shown little interest in actually engaging in a ground war with Iran, and thats with provocation from Iran where they were allowing insurgents to use Iran as a rearming base for attacks into Iran. If you want provocation then Iran is basically challenging the world by building nuclear weapons, if anything Nuclear Weapons development in Iran is an anti-deterrant.

I'm not sure if Iran's leadership is all that foreward looking. They are the great unknown. We know for the most part that Isreal is stable and rational as are most of the other countries in the Nuclear club. The same can't be said about Iran, especially when they have threatened a neighbouring nation with religion based cleansing on many occassions.

Yeah, but in this case Abormoran, the guy who aspries to anti-holocaust theory and has shown an incredible willingness to stand by and watch his own people die for crimes against god is not exactly a picture or clear and lucid and intelligent leadership.

This is a government that is run by people who have long white beards. Old men may talk the talk, but the simple fact that they are still alive tells us they don't walk the walk. These guys aren't going to kill themselves.

Anyway, I just read that when they signed the Non-Proliferation thing in 1968, the nuclear powers of the day were supposed to get rid of theirs and the rest of the world wouldn't even try. Since nobody actually lived up to their end of that bargain, it's hypocritical to bitch about this now. What do we expect them to do?

I don't like the idea of religious crazies of any stripe having "a finger on the button" but this is how it is. "We" in the west set it up this way.

It's like punching a guy in the face and crying when he puts his hands up.

What part of most wasn't clear. And China as a governmental entity and military entity is pretty much stable.

And yes, in terms of how it handles its nuclear weapon policy Israel is stable and rational.

There were multiple times in the past when Israel could have used their Nuclear arsenal and didn't specifically 1973.

Criticizing Israel does not make you anti-semitic, even if mikey's views are a tad beyond the norm.

No but wishing that Iran would bomb the hell out of them borders on it.
