It is beyond arcadey. There are plenty of things that I prefer to it over Battlefield, but Battlefield feels way better and there is minimal BS. Call of Duty is all BS.

I got up to 19 on my ps3 finally. So today I was playing Hard core again and some ###### was camping hard. Then he laughs about it. well the next game he was on my team so I spent the whole match team killing him. It was great, Get spanned find him, throw flash bangs at him, make a bunch of noise, Then shoot him in the head with a shotgun.
I hate it when people hide in dark corners with a damn machine gun. He left the game after that.

All of a sudden I suck at COD again!
I was doing really good for a while, usually got around 22-6 and every once and a while I would get something like 31-4. Lately (more or less the last 5 days) I am getting 9-9 or 11-9... so frustrating.

That's an affirmative from over here on BF:BC2.
First game that I thought sniping was actually utilized as a proportional tactical weapon.
Really really awesome.

Has anyone actually unlocked Sit Rep Pro? It's the longest perk to unlock. Destroy 120 enemy claymores/C4/Tactical insertions
Reward: you get personal UAV (well, makes enemy footsteps and your allies softer, so you are aware when bad guys are near you)

Is that even necessary? I don't play with headphones so I can't hear the enemies footsteps anyways. I guess that's when you know when you're hardcore and not

I've really learned to not care about my K-D ratio now that I'm playing some of the more objective oriented games (ie Capture the Flag). Yeah I could worry about some number which no one sees anyways (on PC) or you can have the satisfaction of making Peyton Manning like sprints with the bomb/flag.

I'm working on it slowly. I think I'm half way there. I go out of my way to destroy the claymores etc, often getting myself killed in the process.

There needs to be a hardcore mode... I was playing, the sniping was awesome. But when you hit a guy with a sniper rifle, he should be done especially if its in the chest..

Actually that is one of the things I like.
It really rewards you for making good shots.
Anywhere in the upper torso/head is a one shot kill. Really makes you aware of your range.
It is super duper fun to snipe guys in that game. One huge problem though is the abundance of other snipers on my teams sometimes. Freaking annoying having a team full of snipers (who routinely give away your position with their horrible sniping abilities) when they all suck.
Dear other sniper idiots on my team: One guy is in 1st (me), and is pinning them down in their base. We don't need 4 other guys missing their shots and getting flanked because they can't play as a team.
Same is true defending. Last night I played a game where I wasn't a sniper, and everyone else on my team was. And they were all brutal, and no one could last more than a minute without being picked off from the tree line, so I decide to go sniper class to be the anti-sniper (which I am especially good at).
Sure enough I kill off two waves of attackers, completely dismantling what they thought was an invincible sniper position. The response of my teammates? Stand next to my crouched position to look where I am getting all my kills, give away my position and do nothing to actually defend our objectives.
Holy christ is that annoying.

You echo my sentiments. There is nothing sweeter than a *ping* from a head shot I made on somebody from across the map.
My best class is my sniper class and I'm pretty good at pickign spots to defend an objective
Such as in real life, a sniper needs to be patient and many rookie snipers fire as soon as they see someone and end up giving away their position without killing anyone
It is better to wait and place your shots. Also, don't rely too much on thermal, since enough people use cold blooded perk.
Lastly, move after you get 2 or 3 kills in a single position. You'll die if you camp in one place too long
Interesting, last night I played a match with members from "NextGentactics." They were really good and worked as a real team. Ended the match with a nuke.
Inspired, I won the next match with a 39-2 with 19 sniper kills and the rest with Harrier, Pavelow, and AC130

Does anyone know... Have they actually fixed the air drop glitches? I have noticed an abundance of numerous airdrops being dropped at once lately.
Also, out of frustration I just wanted to say that my last 6 airdrops have been ammo, UAV or counter UAV. Man I hate that.

Yeah, I should be on for awhile tonight. Remember our deal though, you walk around and get shot at so I can see where they are hiding.

You'll probably see your name in one of their videos on YouTube in the near future, then.
I think they're even sponsered by Machinima.

Wow, late to this thread. Love it though. Had my first nuke the other night, then one the very next. Such a feeling of accomplishment.
