Default Best Sunday Brunch in Calgary

Looking for some ideas for a multi-birthday brunch celebration on Feb.7th. My Mom, 5 year old niece, and girlfriend are all celebrating their birthdays in short order and I'm trying to locate a decent brunch place (preferably in the north). Been to The Executive Royal Inn (huge spread) and the one at COP (can't recall the name). Any suggestions? Preferably not costing an arm and a leg.

Carriage House Inn used to be very good, but it's not in the north. It's been a few years too - not sure what it's like now.

Couple of old threads, may be a bit dated:

Note sure if this is substantial enough for a triple-birthday brunch, but I really enjoyed Sunday brunch @ Cora's in Okotoks when I was in town last summer. They have 2 locations in Calgary, including one in the NW. [link]

I don't know if they normally take reservations for one of their busiest time slots, but it's worth a call.

Depends if you're looking for selection or quality of food.

For quality, Lynx Ridge golf course has a really nice one. It's a more quiet brunch as their dining room doesn't hold that many people. But great food.

Also, try the Airport Hotel. Wonderful quality of food.

Best brunch is Fairmont downtown.

Nick's is good. All you can eat steak!

Brunch at the restaurant at the Hyatt is quite good. Can't remember what it's called...

I really like the brunch at Priddis Greens Golf Course. But it's not cheap or in the North end of town, so... useless information I guess.

I was there at Christmas. It's still pretty good. The selection/price ratio is pretty good. It cost $21, I believe, but they had things like crab claws, shrimp, osso bucco, eggs benedict, creme brulée, waffles, etc. The best brunches around are probably either the Palliser or Banff Springs, but I think those are around $50, which is pretty steep.

Coast Plaza is in the NE -- very good spread, not sure about the price though.

I've also been to Madison's in Beddington a few years ago -- smaller but also cheaper IIRC.

Naturbahn tea house (COP) $22 and it's still good.

One day if you have the time and the coin $42 the brunch at the Banff Springs is the best I have ever had.

Try AKA Winebar on Edmonton Trail. It's just across from Diner Deluxe, fairly new to the scene, and they just won 2nd best brunch in Calgary by Where Magazine. Love that place.
