This is hilarious that Arsenal is being thrown into this conversation. But whatever helps some of you guys get through this rough patch that Liverpool is going through.

^^^ To be fair it's just one guy (newcomer, Dagger NOT Jagger btw) who is doing this. Arsenal has nothing to do with any of Liverpool's deep rooted ongoing problems.

Fernando Torres reportedly wants Villa and Silva to be signed:
"If I could, I would take David Villa or David Silva to Liverpool as a partner in attack," he said in the Daily Mail. "I wish they could come. It would be a great asset for our team"
Better get your personal chequebook out then, Fernando, as I can't see Tom or George getting theirs out.

Oh, I know. The regular Liverpool fans are upset and know that the team has a big hole to get out of, whereas this new guy is trying to compare apples and oranges with Benitez and Wenger.
I'd say Wenger has a lifetime contract with Arsenal, similar to one Darryl Sutter with the Calgary Flames.

How awesome would that be? Man, David Villa with Torres, that would be the deadliest attack the EPL.
Get 'em both and damn the cost.
While you're at it though, this defence just aint good enough.

I didn't mean the owners forced him to sell, I just meant they were a selling club. Wenger has to sell more than he can buy, its a fact. Just look at their transfers over the past 4-5 years.

knew spurs would lose when Gerrard and Torres were announced out
knew it was 100% sure when Howard Webb was assigned to the game, that no goal for Defoe was comical
but Liverpool were easily the better team tonight, deserved the 3 points. Should be a good fight for 4th between Spurs, Liverpool and Man City

Defoe was offside, and he fouled Reina.
Not to mention Degen was ted on by Bale and Palacios(IIRC) and both were pretty lucky to get away with yellows.

the FA came out and said he wasn't offside
he was initially offside but when the Liverpool defender moved the ball forward it negated that
if you're going to argue calls you can just as well point out Crouch getting pulled down in the box on a free kick that was missed. Missed calls on both sides there is nothing to be done about it, refs have a human error.
but as I said, Liverpool deserved the win. Will be interesting if they can build of the momentum they got on the road tomoro against wolves

There will be a day, a disgusting day at that, when Man U will lose Rooney to Madrid for 120 million euros, and Man City's Sheik billionaire will buy every prominent player in europe and win PL and CL.
When that day comes, I will sit back and.....
Laugh

Oh wow, are you serious? Defoe fouled Reina as well, and that was not a penalty in the least to Crouch.
But if you do want to talk about penalties, we should talk about matchday 1. Ref missed a hand ball from Assou-Ekotto or Palacios(can't remember) and that Voronin challenge was a brutal missed call.
6 straight matches with points, 4 of them wins with no Torres or Johnson along with no Gerrard or Benayoun for some of them. Come on you mighty reds!

Ten men, three points!!! The Toffees got absolutely schooled in the 2nd half. Outstanding goal by Kuyt.

I like Dirk Kuyt! He has been immense since Torres went down.
Kicked in the head, worked his butt off all match, scored a great goal while being mauled by Neville and the keeper.
How did Fellini not get sent off today? Kicked Kuyt, stamped on our Greek. Both should have gone there.
Love beating the Blue s@#$% almost as much as the Mancs.

That was an epic performance, a 1-0 gritty win playing with 10.
I cant believe how much BS those sodding toffees got away with at Anfield, just an unbelievable display of low quality officiating. The announcers had it right, the ref didnt have any control of that match after the first 10 minutes.
Dirk Kuyt has been absolute money this season. Playing a wing, stalwart defending and still manages to find the back of the net. I cant remember a tighter goal than that one, I mean, we're talking centimeters here, he squeezed that ball through the head of a pin!!
The Hairy Greek was unlucky there, yes, his challenge was deservedly a red, but he clearly made the tackle based on the fact that the ref had allowed what, like 3 or 4 previous tackles exactly like it with no punishment whatsoever. Let it be known now though, if you're gonna tackle Masch like that, beware the angry Greek....he'll get you!
Back in fourth!!

Does anyone know how long is the Liverpool season ticket waiting list? Or do they even have one?
