I watched a video on youtube of a guy getting the nuke and his choppers and stuff counted towards the nuke.

I usually find that if someone drops a emergency airdrop, the rest of the team try to take them as well. Do you ever get that?

i have got it before.. but you pick thme up 10 times faster than they do .... I usually lose 1 if the other team is there... I usually play with all my friends , so if it happens I can go to their house and kick the out of them for doing it ..... it makes them think twice

But I hear people bitching all the time in game about getting their airdrops stolen... kinda crappy but what can ya do...

I have never been able to get the pavelow or choppers from using sentry guns though .. I know I went 9-0 before because i got a sentry with a crate and it didnt give me my next killstreak...

On another note , PIMking and I put our college football alliegances on the back burner ( since the season is over) to team up and play last night . We played Hardcore ( my 1st time ever) and damn is it hard....

Haha I'll occasionally steal an airdrop. I'll try to leave the really sweet stuff for the guy who got it, but if I can't tell who's stuff it is, I'm gonna take it. No point in leaving it for the other team.

I tried that marathon-commando-ninja set today and holy crap. I'm unstoppable! With the UMP and the USP45 (I think) I just rip. I'm trying to get the tactical knife for my pistol but it's tough sledding. 75 pistol kills is quite a few.

The kills you get from crates don't count towards your killstreak, so once you get to 4 kills, and then say get a chopper gunner, the kills you get with the chopper gunner don't count towards that 4. I think the whole streak is negated at that point, if not you'd just continue on from 4.

Bit of a sidebar here that made me think of this thread. It appears the real life ACOG scopes have Biblical references etched into them.

I've determined trying to shoot down a chooper before level 30 is useless. I must have tried 15 times tonight and I'm not sure I connected once. Finally got my cold blooded though, that at least keeps them from killing me so much.

Totally agree. I just hit level 30 last night and have been itching to shoot down a heli. Trying any of the first two launchers is completely futile.

I shot one down a pavelow with my FAMAS last night. I had stopping power pro on and it did take a clip and a half but that was completely unexpected.

How do you use the FAL properly? Every time I try and use it I get killed by someone with a fully automatic before I can get the second shot off.

My funny heli story from last night...

I was playing a free-for-all match. I ran around a corner to see a care package just get dropped and the guy was going to pick it up so I knife him in the back and then take his care package. He starts swearing like crazy at me over his mic.

The care package turned out to be heli so I call it in right away. About two minutes later I come around another corner and right in front of me is a guy with a Stinger trying to shoot down my heli, so I knife him in the back too. It turns out it was the same guy I knifed in the back to get the heli in the first place. He comes on the mic saying "you idiot, taking down the chopper does everyone good". And I reply "not the guy that owns the chopper". Then the dots connect in his head and he really starts to lose it.

I probably took a year off the poor guy's life from all the stress he suffered through that night. Or got him grounded by his parents when they heard what kind of language he's using.

I love the FAL, well until I get the M16...

I tap the trigger pretty fast and seem to do well against full automatics. It works better at close range though because you have to be somewhat accurate, whereas with fully automatic guns you can just spray your opponent from a distance.

I'm a sprayer so I tried using the M16 last night and it was brutal. Tar will always be my buddy.

After my weekend of intense ownage, I have finally come back down to Earth and I can't seem to get above 15 kills now... and 30 deaths. It's insane!

I think the best scope for a gun is the red dot... It virtually makes it a snipper rifle.... just put the red dot on the dudes head from across the map... pull the trigger a couple times and blammo!!!! got a kill!!!

However I did the same thing last night on Wasteland... went 39-7 with a emergency air drop the same thing... UAV, Sentry, Chopper Gunner, and Stealth..... I have good luck on this map the last couple of time .... I thought it was gonna be a long game because I started out 1 kill and 6 deaths... but then went on a run!!!

Black Eleven.... your heli story is awesome.. I love when people flip out in game and in lobby. I find it amusing and quite funny. I also like being the reason they flip out . Some people take the game way too serious!

Close range though I'm always using a shotgun. As soon as I go into a corridor or narrow space I switch to the shotgun right away. It's almost always a one shot kill with it from close range. Barely have to aim even.

People like you make me throw my controller to the floor

I can't seem to use the shotgun, and the only kind of killing I ever do is short-med range. Those close quarter maps 3/4 of the people run around with shotguns so ever corner I always die... incredibly frustrating!

It seems as though we have enough CP players to make a giant game... is that even possible?

Yeah I like the red dot site, too. What is the point of the holographic site? Does it do something the red dot site doesn't do? I can't seem to tell the difference.

The reason I try and stay away from the shot gun is that I can't stand seeing someone in the distance, aiming my shot gun and knowing right away they are out of range. It's stupid I know but by the time I switch back to my primary they usually have either killed me or hidden.

The FAL gives me the best of both worlds. Less kick than an automatic weapon, but significantly more range than a shotgun. Don't get me wrong once I get further in the game I will be wielding the dual shotgun but for the time being the best shotgun I have is a striker and it just doesn't cut it for me.

I tried looking at this online... red dot is essentially a dot in the middle, so if you look from the side it will appear to be in the middle of the gun sights.

Holographic is done by a set of mirrors so no matter the angle of viewing, it will always be in the middle of the gun sights. So holographic is much better.

In terms of the game, holographic supposedly has better long distance range, but has slower viewing time (I think). I kind of prefer the red dot, takes up less space.
