Well that was a pretty fun game. End is cool. Definitely a great game, guess now I'll go back through and complete all the side quests.

I've been doing all the side quest extensively, maybe I should just carry on with the main missions and do the side quests later.

I do the same thing. It makes the game feel longer for me to do the side missions as the story goes on rather than just rush to the end.

I just find them boring. The races and courier missions especially, just don't like them. The assassination missions are fun. I like to hunt down the couriers that run away from you when they see you and kill them. They're usually good for a thousand coins at least.
Advice for anyone playing through right now, will put in white, not really a spoiler but will save you time down the line...

Find all of the codex pages before you move to another city. They're easy to find, there will always be 4 guards in front of an open door.

Do the assassination missions go on forever, or do they eventually stop. Been doing them all before moving on with the story quests?

I enjoy just climbing around and finding all the loot locations (after buying the treasure maps). Finding all the feathers is going to be a royal pain though.

Each city has it's set # of side quests. The side assassination missions end, but the cities are bigger than you think.
 Possible spoiler again, so white

Finding the 6 Assassin's tombs is fun, but damn do some of them take forever. It's worth it though for what it unlocks.

Also, neat trick I came across. Once you have the throwing knives, killing rooftop archers with the them won't increase your notoriety, while attacking and killing them will. Upgrade that knife belt and your rooftop roaming gets easier.

just finished it, it think the story is one of the best i've ever seen in a video game. feel the same way i felt after the first one, i can't wait for the next sequel. i just hope it doesn't take place in WWII like the rumors are suggesting, there's been way too many games in that setting already. personally i'd like to see something in early north america, like the american revolution or civil war. guns were around, but were only good for 1 or 2 shots before it became close combat and swordplay was still present so i think it could work. would be cool to climb around old Philidephia or Boston. and who knows, maybe they could fit the assassination of Lincoln into the story

I don't see how they could do WW2. They sort of god rid of sword play by that era. The game should be during the ancient Chinese or Japanese dynasties. Samurai Assassins = awesome.

Just finished it. Awesome game. 100 times better than the first, and the first one rocked. I can't wait for AC3, it is seriously going to be GOTY. They fixed almost everything from the first one. The story was also much better and the first was awesome. I am so pumped for AC3.
To think I almost skipped on this game to play MW2 and L4D2.

There was some issues with the ps3 version for Assassin's 1, but AC2 is pretty much identical between the 2 systems.

As far as AC3 goes I want to see Industrial Revolution London as the setting.
Instead of Leonardo da Vinci you could talk to Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper could be a character as well.

That's an awesome idea! There's the French Revolution as well, the Russian Tsars and the Bolsheviks (Rasputin in it!). Obviously WW1 and 2.

And as I mentioned, if they want to switch from a Euro scene, they can go Asian which I think would be sweet.

Well I just finished it having played Uncharted first, and having to replay two thirds of the game as I almost had it wrapped back in BC. That ending, was shall we say, interesting. Whats in it for me if I go back and do all the side quests? Besides money

Man I haven't played this game since I got MW2. It's pretty entertaining, but nowhere close to MW2.

See I enjoy history and um 'alternate' histories. So the effed up story line is right up my ally.

Same, it's been sitting on my desk ever since I started multiplayer on MW2

If anyone is interested, Ubisoft announced yesterday that they are going to back an episodic game that will feature Ezio and include multiplayer. No details as of said, except that it'll be a standalone game (but proceed where AC2 left off), it won't be AC3, but will include some kind of multiplayer. Sounds interesting.
Also, for those unaware the DLC for this game comes out next month and march. They are the 2 lost memory sequences, 12 and 13 IIRC.
