I have a 46 panasonic and a 50 samsung. No buzzing. Got it from Costco? I'm sure they'd take it back. Just a bitch to have to.

Fair enough. That would make it a problem with just the new Samsung plasmas then, not all plasma televisions in general. There is already enough false information out there about plasmas... a "buzzing noise" doesn't need to be added to the list.

My Panasonic Viera is more than 2 years old and it makes no buzzing sounds at all.

Same here. I can practically use it as a fireplace in the winter though...lol.
