I don't know where women got the idea that botox lips are attractive - certainly not from men.

Ya, Kobe's affair also allegedly included rape. Both Tiger and Kobe are scumbags for cheating, but at least Tiger's affairs went along willingly (allegedly).

I don't get it. Why poor Elin? She knew what she was getting into. If you marry the richest athlete in the world, don't expect him not to attend parties and be banging other chicks. She should be grateful she went from a supermodel Nanny to having millions of dollars!

If she really wanted a normal life, marry a average guy, with an average income, with an average house, with an average car with an average job.

Without a hint of arrogance, all this thread has done for me is confirm that I have better taste in women than most celebrities.

Because all that would certainly insure monogamy....

I think this says something about the way our society values love.

To continue being crotchety, I'll quote the statesman Edmund Burke:

"I thought ten thousand swords must have leaped from their scabbards, to avenge even a look that threatened her with insult.

But the age of chivalry is gone; that of sophisters, economists, and calculators has succeeded, and the glory of Europe is extinguished forever."

Tiger Woods is actually statistically normal in that roughly 60% of husbands will cheat on their wives during marriage.

He is probably abnormal in the degree of his infidelity though. He clearly has an ego problem and his lack of caring for his two children and the woman he married is appalling. It wasn't a one-off "whoops" kind of thing. It was systemic, organized, widespread (no pun intended) and carried out through a period of years.

And no, she shouldn't be grateful her husband is unfaithful and a slut, regardless of the zeros on his paycheque.

Elin "knew what she was getting into"? Because if a guy is rich he has the "right" to infidelity and his little wifey better damn well expect it. Okay, then.

Who are we to say what she did or didn't know getting into the relationship. It's not a secret that rich and powerful men have mistresses, and it's not even that uncommon for wives to go along with the whole thing.

I was commenting on the fact that some poster assumed she most definitely DID know what she was getting in to, simply because she married a rich guy. I'm of the same opinion as you - who are we to say whether she knew or didn't?

Merely pointing out that it's pretty biased to assume that all women who marry rich are gold-diggers who will not only "look the other way", but expect it to happen. Just as it would be biased to assume that all rich men cheat/have mistresses.

I'm glad that wealth in an individual allows us to change our standards.

Wait, what? I was banking on being presented with a stable of mistresses upon reaching 'rich' status, if that's not true I just don't see the point anymore.

Text messages between Tiger Woods and Grubbs are now out.

Some of this stuff is so insanely weird and hilarious.
