Yes thank you! This is how I play all my games and have never been accused of getting a glitch goal till now. I have played everybody here multiple times in both leagues and this is a first.
I get two wrist shot goals and now get called out as a glitcher. Wow.

Pretty easy to stop once you are called on it. I wouldn't do it anymore either once I had been called out.
Look I played him before in the other league and it wasn't an issue then either.. I know what happened in the game.... If it wasn't a glitch he wouldn't have stopped when I called him on doing it.
At the end of the day I'm not going to talk about it anymore. I was just stating.

Look man I'm not going to argue this anymore. YOU KNOW EXACTLY what you were doing.
You got two glitch goals because you tried it twice before I called you on it. I'm sure you'll stop now that it's been brought up.
At the end of the day you busted yourself.
My message said, stop glitching. It didn't say stop doing the drag wrister glitch. When I said stop glitching, you stopped doing that EXACT wrist shot. You didn't stop taking wrist shots.. You stopped taking them that way. That tells me you knew exactly what you were doing. So stop the innocent act.
Seriously though I'm done talking about this you're irritating me, not to mention it's a stupid discussion about a video game.

You said "stop glitching" after I scored 2 goals on the first two shots. THAT's how I knew what you were talking about. I play everyone the same way and always take my wrist shots this way, and you are the only one to say anything about it.
I do not think you understand the definition of a glitch. A glitch is an exploit in the game that IS NOT MENT TO BE THERE. As ridiculous as it might sound to you, the wrist shot is ment to be in the game.
All I was doing was a wrist shot, from a high percentage player, in a high percentage spot. This usually gets you goals.
Once again, I have been taking shots this way against EVERYBODY, since both leagues started, and have never got a single complaint until now.
If you can't handle getting scored on, or can't defend, or can't stand to lose, and you feel the need to call someone a glitcher because of it, maybe you shouldn't be playing this game?

Not the one...

As GM, AFireInside's concerns are noted. And I think this argument has run it's course.
Generally speaking, a held wrist shot like that often ends up as a goal in the NHL and should be defended as such. I do not recall seeing a play like that used against me often (unless the shooter leaves on a stretcher) BUT if a quantity of users think any user is being un-gentlemanly then they will be excused from this gentleman's league.
Any complaints from any user should be PMed to me.

Just wantied to make a comment about the wrist shot.
I really don't think EA knew what it was unleashing when they added the skill stick. While it is a useful, and sometimes fun addition to the game, it has really created a scenarrio where using it adds to the likelyhood of a goal way too much.
The skill stick killed any passes that aren't a cross crease tap in. It's get the puck, deke all the way up the ice, and then either deke the goalie or make the cross crease pass. To me, this is a problem with the game.
I think the easiest way for EA to remedy the problem it to make the skill stick much more risky: you deke and lose control of the puck, you use it to drop a wrist shot back and you fan on the shot, stuff like this. There is no reason for 4th liners to be better danglers than Huselius.
Until this is implemented, there is no need for board play, dump and chase, etc, as these low risk plays have about a 1% chance of reward in the game and the higher risk, no-pass game has about a 80% chance of reward. Just silly.
Just my opinion.

Isn't that why they added that manual pass now? I kinda like this arcade hockey... I like it this way personally.

Well, I'm going to not be around for the next couple of weeks. RROD. First time. I blame MW2 and Netflix.

Unfortunately, when others are on, it's the same 3-4 people.

Haha, I do that once in awhile. If I think I can block a pass or something I'll try it. Problem is you miss, which is most of the time, you get a penalty, or an odd man rush against you.
But seriously that's pretty easy to avoid...
