The same guys lay their best line on the young lady working the refreshment cart, or running the snack bar at the turn. If they don't say it, they're thinking it.
All while the wife and kids are at home, or soccer practice, or wherever they are. This "transgression" will do little to impact his appeal to these guys.
Of course, his appeal is broader than that, but this is a large chunk of who actually buys his wares.

Maybe true for Nike golf... but I'm sure those guys aren't the only people who shop (American Express), play video games (Electronic Arts) or shave (Gilette).

Something similar to Tiger's incident happened to a guy I worked with once. He didn't make CNN though.

I would say AMEX would be the same demographic, I doubt EA or Gillette are too concerned.

EA might be concerned. Depends how many mothers, wives and daughters by video games as presents.
Gillette wouldn't care. "This guy, while using our product, got laid a little more - maybe you should too" could be a new slogan.

Does it really matter if he loses some endorsements? The guy is swimming in money and I've read in the past how he has a pretty good chance that his PGA retirement plan could reach $1 billion.

Sorry 'bout that I didn't have sound when I posted it, and the source claimed it was Japanese.

I'd wager that EA is taking this very seriously. Tiger Woods PGA Tour isn't Gears of War or GTA... they're going for a pretty wide market, especially with the Wii version. Add to that the heavy scrutiny video games face at the best of times.

I wonder what kind of cheat codes the game will have next year.

LOL, you'd be right about the lack of golf. Having kids has basically eliminated that from my life. I can't wait for both of them to be in school...

$30 is right, in the US anyway. Nike 1 tour's have been 2 dozen for $59 all year.

I wouldnt accept it if I were married to a high profile female athlete. But, yeah, it is sort of dissapointing to me to think that most people in high profile positions probably screw around ...
Just thinking though, you dont hear about it hockey as often as other sports. It must happen ... but Tiger is analogous to Gretzky, Sakic, or Yzerman. I personally have never even heard a sketchy rumor about hockey's greatest.
