3rd rounder Ryan Howse has 18g and a +7 in 25gp on a bad 9-12-4 Chilliwak Bruins team in the WHL. It looks like this kid has some scoring touch and might be a guy to keep a close eye on over the next year or 2.

Hes looking like a great 3rd round pick right now.
Hes on pace for around 50 goals and 25 assists.

As far as I can tell, Tim Erixon had one shot, took an unnecessary penalty, and played nearly 18 minutes in Skelleftea's 1-1 tie with Lulea last night.

John Negrin with 6 points in the last 3 games, including 3 goals
Heat defeat the Bulldogs 4-1; Irving gets the win and 3rd star of the game. Negrin and Pelech were 1st and 2nd star

Brett Palin and Gord Baldwin were injured on the last road trip so Kronwall and Meyers took their spots.

John Armstrong still out with an injury

What's going on with Armstrong? Is he still out with the same injury he was suffering from in training camp?

With what? Same injury or an entirely new one?

I don't know much about him, but some CP'ers seemed to have pretty high hopes for him prior to training camp. It's really too bad he hasn't been healthy all season.

Alexander Deilert drafted in 2008 and not yet signed is the third highest scoring defenseman in the Allvenskan. He has 5 goals and 10 assists for 15 points in 19 games. At 20 years old he should still be on the Flames radar. I wonder if he gets signed before the 2010 draft. Hopefully Darryl Sutter gives him a chance.

Makes me winder if he told sutter he does t want to come to NA. He hasn't been to a single training camp and nobody talks about him.

Wow, another D prospect thats looking good, although hes playing a level below the SEL, right?

Last night Howse had a goal, an assist and finished a +3 in a 6-1 win.
In the same game Bouma finished a -3.

I don't know if Alexander ever said anything like that. He was a seventh round pick so I have no idea what they think of him. Going from memory only here the Flames European scout (Steen?) was very high on him at the draft in 2008. A late round gem he had been watching for years. He was thinking of being a golf pro until he became more focused on hockey. May explain why he was still available in the seventh round. If he really wants to be a hockey player now I say sign him.
